We have this discussion every week. You fundamentally misunderstand what the Red Pill is. It's not the sort of claim which can be tested with traditional empirical methods. Human sexual interaction is incredibly complicated. TRP simply offers a sexual strategy for men. That's it.

Also the whole notion that the compilation of individual experiences can't be of value because it can't be completely scientifically validated is dumb. Plenty of valuable disciplines (sales skills) have their roots in such knowledge. Most of these disciplines involve human interaction, just like TRP.

If you don't have problems getting sex or dealing with relationships then you don't need anything from TRP, so I don't see why that matters. The advice they give isn't universally true but is often helpful for people with certain mindsets.

Ok, this right here? This is bullshit. Ideas that run counter to the social zeitgeist always have a hard time finding a platform, regardless of whether or not they are found to have merit. In our society, criticizing women as a group is simply not seen as kosher (even criticizing individual women is barely permissible), so any study with findings that reflect poorly on women as a group will have a hard time getting through to publication.

Game = sales. TRP = marketing. Both sales/game and marketing/TRP have equal scientific support. If you want to tell TRP that their claims are insufficiently supported and thus invalid, go make your case to a major company instead. You'd make far more convincing them that all the money they're spending on sales and marketing is largely wasted and can be cut.

Is objectively incorrect. There was a great recent post just a few days ago from /u/TheGreasyPole that went into considerable depth about a study supporting red pill ideas. Denying that such studies exist is like denying that there's a book out there called The Sun Also Rises. Can you disagree with this study? Can you find studies that support other ideas? Absolutely, but you can't deny that there's reputable research out there that supports TRP.

Prove it. I just watched a bunch of academics scramble to write a rebuttal to the transracialism dissertation. They were trying to prove their conclusion by begging the question right off the bat. PhD's a bunch of worms, so afraid hurting gender non binary feefees while also condemning "transracialism" because that disorder is the cool acceptable one since its "cultural appropriation".

They're not supported DIRECTLY by science because they can't be. Who would write a grant to study the unpleasant aspects of the female psyche?

The are inderictly supported by science, and even a casual perusal of chateau heartiste would confirm this.

But yes, where there's no indirect science, we have to rely on accumulated anecdotes. It does not mean we're wrong, it means science as a profession has been converged.

Behavioural science is barely a science. Why would RP ideas which are based on behavioural science along with some anthropology have scientific rigor?

Edit: That is not to say that it cant be tested. If you were to take 5 different men of different races and different ages and you were to apply RP ideas on them, and they were to go out on the field and hit on women, and you were to note down their N count. You will find that RP ideas give a higher N count than if you were to do it without RP ideas.

IE you run multiple experiments with all the variables remaining the same except one variable.

Isnt that what the scientific method is? Full disclosure: I am not a scientist or a statistician in any way shape or form(Although I have some knowledge on statistics cause I took it during my bachelor degree days). I would love for a scientist to correct me on this.

meh, there are some stupid people and things said on that sub, but a lot of what they say seems closer to reality than I see in other subs that are concerned with p/c language and not hurting feelings. In my experience, the 'blue' guys I know are just oblivious or in willful denial. But you always have those successful blue types who pretend that their success is not due to status, looks, and a host of other factors, but rather their personality and beliefs. This is usually the most frustrating, because they don't get what's giong on but thankfully they're blessed already

RP men aren't trying to publish peer-reviewed papers. They are trying to either, a) get laid (TRP/RP PUA), b) save their marriages and relationships to counter hypergamy through techniques that work (RP Tradcon), or c) figure out a lifestyle that is devoid of female presence (RP MGTOW).

RP theory is inherently empirical, and we aren't interested in developing it any further. It works.

I posted a version of this earlier, but will repost here because it seems relevant (sorry if that breaks a rule, I'm too tired to type it all out again):

MRAs, Redpill men, etc are displacing their anger onto women but really they are angry about the entire constellation of change that has upended modern society in developed and developing nations. That's why RP, extreme feminism, SJWs alike are all just spinning their wheels -- they're not talking about what needs to be talked about, and that is the vast and unintended effect of technology in every aspect of our lives, everyday, at virtually every moment.

For instance, women and men can work at the same jobs and be paid roughly the same now, because much of the work that needs to be done is not manual. We pay other people (often in other countries) to do the manual parts -- both genders do. Thus, the feelings of empowerment that many women feel, and the feelings of disempowerment that many men feel, are inextricably linked to the unbelievably rapid shifts in technology that have happened since the mid 19th century.

RP ideas are a framework for those men to feel better about themselves. It's a religion, complete with talisman and prayers and rewards for good behavior. It's an extremely tempting ideology for young men who have access to a glut of information but no idea how to evaluate that information from any sort philosophically sound position. It's like they were given this "cheat sheet" that explains how things "really are" but they lack the basic curiosity to ask the next logical question: "why?" Why is it appealing, why do people believe it to the point of radicalization, why is it finding purchase here and now, and not, say, ten years ago or twenty or 100?

Edit: So in that regard, it is unsurprising there is little "evidence" to back up their claims, and equally unsurprising that they don't really care. Most religious people don't care for facts, that's why they're religious.
