The people who aren't successful are salty so they'll make bad reviews - reasonably so

My point is; for those it worked - they're not here anymore. For those it didn't work, they're still around.

If you're a recovering alcoholic, if someone found a trick that stops their addiction - you won't be seeing them in AA meetings. They'll be gone.

I took a course once. As well as a separate bootcamp with the same coach. It was a good course. Lots of good material. I got some good results out of it. Didn't become some god but got a lot better and learned how little looks actually matter without the game to back it up.

The bootcamp especially was useful and everyone there "Leveled up" significantly in the 3 days that it took place over. Like you could see it, day one, everyone is struggling to even approach. By day 3, you just fucking approach anyone, many of us had instadates, numbers, kisses and a couple of guys even got laid. A kissless guy made out with a chick at a club. Clearly, the approach of high volume and actually doing it works.

But there was one thing the coach said at the end of the bootcamp that will always stick with me. The bootcamp is like a steroid cycle. It'll boost your results but you will absolutely lose it if you don't keep approaching and trying to improve.

That's the real takeaway. It's not about the course or the bootcamp. It's about consistently working at it over time. If you stop for a while you regress and when you pick it back up you're just relearning the same skills you already knew a few weeks ago. This goes for any skill, not just pickup or seduction. Everything from playing a sport to playing an instrument to studying to become a doctor. It's all boils down to consistent effort over time a bootcamp or course or good teacher acts like a multiplier on that effort, it doesn't turn zero effort into something.

I'm sure there are lots of bad courses but I would wager even the worst ones have some useful lessons to teach, even if it's to teach you what not to do. Whether you actually get results from a course is not really about the course, it's about you doing the thing and sticking to it long enough to see the payoff you are looking for. I can't guarantee that it'll always work but it gives you a chance to succeed. What I can guarantee is that if you don't consistently put in the reps, you will fail and the best course or coach in the whole world won't change that.

I can summarize evertything as:

PUA courses vendors do not have the results they show; - well, maybe it is a matter of taste on women (personal traits over beauty, cause beauty do not raise good children well or makes a good company necessarily)

PUA courses may help you or not, they are not perfect, but it is worth testing - Just test it, like you do to anything else to see if it works

The people who had success with the courses will not be complimenting it as much as the ones who did not will be criticizing it. - Most people who had success may want to keep the good things in secret and/or even criticize them to avoid competition, when they had actual success with it.

This market is predatory, it preys on vulnerable and desperate people who will pay any amount of money for the fantasy of having their ultimate life problem solved

The thing is, they think that they know their problem but that usually is not the core problem,

It's usually not losing 5kg or going on a date, having a partner, that's gonna magically fix everything missing,

There is no magic, a lot of issues are perception and comparing, relationship with self

In terms of seduction, i dont believe a course can change a person, but i am not saying that a person can't change,

I think paying money to people who promise to fix your problems is a flawed concept to start with, and a lot of grifters make a living abusing the shit out of it,

Usually by creating a loop, going from free ebooks and newsletters to paying courses, to events to expensive seminars, to one to ones...etc

Combine with this that people who fall for it are too vulnerable and too ashamed to admit or complain, and find themselves in sunk cost fallacies

The amount of FREE generic advice is abundant and sufficient,

It's not about a missing piece of info kr technique that will change your life. And make your skill go up... that's the lie they sell.

Knowing something is not the same as realising it, no course ans no advice will make someone realize things,

It takes time, time you can't buy, time to mature

It takes being at a right head space, the right attitude, to reflect back on some experience,

Sometimes this might take years or sometimes less but it's different as each person has their own set of lemons to deal with in life, .

Changing one's perception is really hard, even knowing it is flawed, and knowing that ones life choices are unhealthy, people get stuck in loops,

At some point, when the right circumstances are there and a person is feeling okay about themselves in their flaws, then the rest is the easier 20%, there some of the advice here and there could guide a bit, but that's not the ultimate game changer that it claims to be...

People are going to trash on products. Sometimes they hate the coach, don't think you need it, or something along those lines.

If you are serious about learning, hearing what experienced coaches have to say on the subject, including infield examples, are going to be valuable for anyone who is serious about learning. These products do have flaws, but still are worth having a look at.

The way I see it, imagine you had 3 or 4 friends that were really good at game. And then you talked one on one with each one and they broke down their views on it all. Each guy would have a different perspective, but there would be alot of overlap. You aren't going to be good at game just by hearing what they have to say, just like watching a product isn't going to make you good. But, it's a great learning tool as long as you are taking lots of action.

And that's one of the big problems. Guys watch these programs and never take action. Or if they do, they get stuck and keep seeking out more content.

I say, watch a few courses just to see what the different coaches have to say. Then go out and have a process in place to work on your current sticking points. Anything that you're not good at or that make you uncomfortable, drill on those things. Level up.

Why would you pay money to have someone tell you information that is available for free?

I never paid for any such thing. I researched what I could find for free on the internet and pieced it together myself. When it reached the point where the truths stood out from repetition from a plethora of sources I went out to practice, and reflect on my experiences in relation to the knowledge I had consumed.

That's how I found my way and I doubt anyone could have held my hand through it for money any better than that.

Besides, many are not worth listening to and you don't have the experience to know who's good or bad. You also shouldn't ever follow just one PUA, if you really want to learn you cast a wide net and the grains of truth are most likely the points most seem to agree on, despite other differences which is the noise you filter out.

So yeah, going to a PUA course is a bad deal. You don't learn anything you can't learn by yourself, you still have to put in the actual work anyways and there's the risk you're learning a bunch of crap that will hinder more than help because of that particular guys views.

PUA is about facing rejection, learning that it's not actually so scary, and getting comfortable expressing your interest in more women. If you want to be more attractive, that comes from doing hard work on yourself.

Unfortunately this reddit is very anti game and most guys much prefer being right about things not working or a a theory they have that is not working then being humble and putting in an earnest effort to learn.

For some odd reason a lot of guys interested in game have this weird like rage at the idea of paying for anything, courses, club covers , a fee to go to an event - whatever. It is weird.

There are some great books and courses out there. It makes no sense guys just think everyone who ever put out information about meeting women was a scammer? Like why would that be the case.

The mystery method book is great, the system by todd and daygame by todd ( actually now free on youtube) are really good. The old mystery and style video courses are excellent - probably can find torrents.

I spent lots of money on courses - and coaching. I also spent money on business and "make money online" courses - but I actually applied it. I literally have a mostly passive income and am now traveling around just having fun and meeting women.

It just really irks me that guys hate on everything - I haven't been here in awhile I don't know why I am it is toxic lol.
I Gotta find another place to find actual interest in improvement and success.

They just collect courses because it makes them feel like they accomplished just like people who keep going to self help seminars.and then there’s the ones who don’t take action then call it a rip off when they don’t get results from actions they didn’t take

Most PUA gurus have done thousands of reps minimum by the time they start to teach. Then they generally want to teach in a way that saves their students all that time and trouble. But much more than they realize or communicate, even though in general their advice is good and useful, it’s advice that’s good and useful to a guy who’s put in 30,000 reps. It’s like the difference between playing piano with and without muscle memory. Even if you somehow managed to memorize the location and sequence of every key you needed to press, playing Für Elise without muscle memory would sound like ass. Nearly every somewhat respected teacher (or even no teacher but yourself—see Zan Perrion) will eventually bring you real measurable leveled-up results if you put in enough reps.
People like to talk, especially on the internet. And everyone’s a critic. And then beyond that, one of the very first things you should be taught if you have any aspirations of landing a halfway decent girlfriend at all, even if you plan to get off the train long before you develop real player skills, is that you’ve got to start polarizing people if you ever want to gain any traction at all. Any genuine PUA master is going to be one of the best people in the world at both inspiring some people and pissing other people off. So you want to critique the logic in the reviews, both good and bad, more than you want to take anyone’s word for anything. I don’t think I would trust a guy that nobody disliked. Of course, general dislike is a separate issue from things like Tyler Durden/RSD Owen faking infields and then saying he did that so it would be easier to follow. (That’s a dealbreaker for me but maybe not for other people. But I’m only mentioning it here to illustrate that all criticism isn’t worthless any more than all criticism is valid.)

This subreddit sucks for two main reasons: 1 Reddit is a harbor for a very special type of toxic where people come here to syphon the value out of other people who have put the work in and refuse themselves to do more than read whatever free, minimal information is being provided to them. They're vehemently against spending money and making choices that crush the fantasy that they're going to be able to get good at everything in their spare time by just joining a subreddit for each of those things and 2 there's very little sense of community due to the anonymity, lack of a ranking system and massive traffic volume.

Most of these people don't know what they're talking about... not enough to give you advice anyway. Start with a course, you'll probably need to buy several before things start to click but stick with one at a time for a while.

We do recommend some, so you at least have an idea of what is happening.

Even I don’t like the idea of them costing money - that is why I always say “sail the 7 seas “

Otherwise If you buy more than 1 you will end up figuring out YOU in particular are the problem.

Dude I go out of my way to give actually infield advice - no matter how cringe I find it. Basically a bootcamp for free.

I even gave up my time to do live infield couching (over the phone) FOR FREE
