HOLY FUCKING SHIT!

I've been thinking about writing a post about this all day.

All the FR's I've read lately have been terrible. There is no talk of the exact techniques used, no going into detail about where things started to go wrong. They have literally become bragging tools. And the worst part is it has been bragging about whatever stage the poster got to and not any further. So poster goes "I got the number close" and then the FR stops there or he K-closes and has a make out... and then we get barely anymore information. So I the reader am left wondering soooooo you didn't try and go any further? What the hell happened next?!

Why why why why why?* This is what I find myself internally asking myself about FR's. OP does X, I want to know why. People should be able to explain their actions (at least I should hope you would be able to considering the study that goes into PUA).

Also most of the FRs written now seem to only be about one or two sets. Are you guys telling me that you are only opening one to two sets a night? Somehow I think this is absolute crap. You will learn much better from analyzing the sets that you have been blown out in, that the ones that you've done well in. [So don't be afraid to post FR's about sets that seemed to go horribly wrong]. You are FAR more likely to get a ton of feedback on a bad set than on a good one. I mean if you F-closed a girl what are we going to really tell you? You got the girl so any advice we can give doesn't really seem all that necessary. However if you started talking to a girl and had been flirting with her for the last 10 minutes and then she started to go cold for some reason we could give far more insight into that and what may be lacking in your game.

I think that as people write their FR's what they should be doing is casting their mind back and quoting exact things that they said and did (and their girls as well). They should be referencing techniques they have been employing. I don't want to hear that you shot the shit with a girl for a bit. I want to hear exactly what you were teasing her about, how you did it, was their any kino involved, where was the kino? How was the eye contact? When you opened the set who did you engage first? What did you say? What was the set vibe like before you went in? How many guys and girls? Craft us an intricate tale full of details. The more details you give us, the more we can all analyze what happened and the more feedback we can give you.

EDIT: I could go on longer than the OP about this, honestly. But I will condense it down. FR's should not just be a quick story on what happened. They should be a tactical analysis of what was said and done and WHY.

To liken this to sport (much like the OP again), it is not about the fact that you won the game, no. Rather you should be analyzing WHY you won. What could have been done better, what was done well. Where is there room for improvement, what should you be working on next.

I absolutely agree. FRs are not for bragging, they are post-game analyses so the FR author and seddit can learn something. If you want to be an example, saying "I read seddit and I got laid" is not going to cut it. I personally think FRs that are failures are far more educational than bragging FRs. Usually the author is candid about his failures, and what he was trying to do, and readers can often see what he did wrong, and he is too close to the problem so he can't see it.

If you're going to do a serious FR, you will need to at least deal with one aspect of seduction that you deliberately wanted to use, how you tried to use it, and how it affected your results. Descriptive details of other relevant PUA techniques you used along the way are very useful.

Also, I think seddit is being trolled. I have seen some very suspicious FRs that are full of bragging, and have tons of PUA jargon but very little actual content, and the jargon shows little understanding of the concept. If you see FRs that you think are fakes, or even a little suspicious (like coming from a 5 minute old reddit account) please hit the Report button to alert the mods, and we will examine it. I think there aren't enough FRs. Downvoting isn't a constructive criticism. It's just a yes/no button. Say something helpful in the comments. My first FRs looked like bragging. A sedditor set me straight and I adjusted accordingly. And that's what makes a healthy community.

I agree with you. The field report should give tactics and verbal exchanges. It should show us how you worked to unfold an attraction relationship between you and the girl. It's should not be "I totally banged this hottie, it was so dirty yo!"

I think this was a great example recently. He did a great job of showing us HOW he built tension between him and the girl, and didn't describe the details of anything past getting her to the bedroom. I know exactly what you mean. When I post FR's (few and far between) I just try to relay what was going through my head or how I applied certain things I've learned. That's what I thought this place was about.

I'm all for strict guidelines on [FR]s. I made a post on someone's thread titled "Kino is Hard" that talked about how [FR]s were way too focused on getting to the end, but none of the details were presented.

My problem is that so many people in their [FR]s will tell their story, and then say 'Then I performed kino'

I get there's the Dicarlo escalation ladder, which is great, but being able to share kino tips and sharing the creativity in performing kino related to the escalation ladder is key.

This thread is much needed.

I have to agree with this. While I am new to seddit and still carry some "white knight" baggage as bitched about earlier this week the reason I read here is to improve my own game.

Good on ya for getting in bed with some random chic, but that's not what I'm here for. I'm here to listen to more experienced people talking about what is an is not effective at garnishing such attention, so OP have an upvote and scrub that I may be I can still vote down the rest.

I will play devils advocate. If you read fr on major seduction sites, most make seddit look quite g-rated. Bragging is part of the game. I agree there is little value posting a FR where the approach is saying hi to a drunk girl who thinks you are cute and not fucking it up. I've personally started writing reports like that when I realized I merely got lucky.

I also have seen plenty of questions around here regarding what I will call f-close etiquette. She's at your place. You both know it will happen. But order of operations isn't always obvious. Take your pants off too soon and it can kill her mood. Most girls want a guy who takes the lead in bed.

Finally, LMR. A big subject, and tough to tackle without discussing what lead up to it.

Yea I was thinking this earlier while I was reading field reports. Sex is the easy part, there is not much to learn about that. I want to read more detailed reports about how they got the girl, which is extremely lacking. Even if the person didn't get the girl, we could analyze where we went wrong. We are all internet friends here, no need to fucking DHV us. Most of the stuff I learned from pick up was from my failed sets anyway.

The only field report I made here I think is detailed enough and would love to write more but I have been sick as of late so I couldn't do any pickup.

Most of the time Seddit either reads like an impenetrable jargon fest or like you said, a collection of soft porn stories. I won't lie, some of them gave me wood.

Although, honestly, I think FRs should be read more for the encouragement of others to go out and collect their own FRs, rather than to be analyzed for what works and what doesn't.

All knowledge should lead to self-knowledge. It's not about what techniques work on a night out for some stranger on the internet. It's about getting encouraged to get out there and using the techniques, and learning to make them work for you.

That's about all I have to add. I'll never write field reports because it's way too easy to find out who I am, and shit, at this point in my life, I kinda just... do.

It's all ingrained. Don't need to think about it as much anymore, I guess.

I can only speak from my own personal experience, you know how it is, you try try try and things are messy, then one day you try one more time, and somehow the planets are aligned, everything you do or say elicits the right response or reply, she feels exactly the same way, things work out smoothy, even when you screw up and she calls on you and you make a save of some kind. You get to get your dick wet with a HB10, it's euphoric. And then, part to show off (we're humans after all), part because you want to share how easy ot was and how much your hard work paid off you file a [FR] on Seddit, and you omit some crappy details, and smooth over some rough spots, you exaggerate a bit some of her responses, and how you have overcome some crazy shit tests.

It's natural, it' human.

Would you prefer a word without /r/seduction ? I think not. Reader beware, as usual read, see what makes sense to you, then the formula is always the same: practice practice practice, this board is priceless.

When I write them in state, they're very bullet point, just what happened. Don;t even reflect on them cause I know i was amazing.
