Is success having a family?

Is success just not being single?

If your definition of success is the first or last, then yes, being machiavelli incarnate is the best option.

On the other hand, being deceitful and manipulative trying to find casual sex probably works, but that's different from actually dating.

That's just life. Yea, you have to be a bit "deceitful and manipulative" in dating, but no more so than holding down a job or maintaining a social life or anything else in life.

When people want money, they pretend to be interested in learning and growing in whatever industry they are trying to get into. When people want all the benefits of having a social network they have to pretend to give a fuck about what happens in other peoples' lives. The same happens with dating.

Makeup and IG filters aside (Those aren't really deceptive), nobody says you HAVE to lie about your social status, front a personality, lie about your commitment, or stroke some man's ego. To me, doing those things are just things that come back to bite you in the end. Eventually whoever you date is gonna figure out you're not the person you're pretending to be

lol... what? This behavior would not lead to a "high rate of success" in a relationship. It might get a few more foolish, hopeful, naive or desperate people to give you a chance for a while, it might get you laid a few times, but that's far from saying "honest people have no chance".

But you seem to not have noticed that most normies who aren't lying pieces of shit also have relationships... and they tend to be happier, more long-term relationships if they don't start their relationships based on lies. They start relationships based on shit like common interests.

You've lost the forest through the trees, my friend. Most people aren't spending all their time trying to come up with new lies and deceptions they can tell the opposite sex to TRICK them into dating. Most people spend their time living lives, pursuing interests, learning new skills, and as they accumulate these experiences, they learn and grow, which is attractive to other people who are doing the same.

A relationship can't really be called "successful" if you have nothing tangible you like about one another.
