Our current dating and friendship culture doesn't priotize intellectual exchange or even the art of having serious conversations anymore

I will tell you what, the last girl I tried getting with, we weren't even being intimate really, but I will say we did have great excellent back-to-back conversations about overcoming hardships and how the current job for ue was utter shit(we both worked at Sam's Club at that time) in fact the intellectual exchange was so good, I didn't even care that bad to turn it into a serious relationship

This is what made me realize I don't want a relationship that bad anyway, at least as of now. What I want are close connections of like minded people(both friends and partners), who are open up to actually engaging in what I guess some on the internet would call "mental masturbation", but is not mental masturbation, is intellectual stimulation, that stimulation from having a damn satisfying thought-provoking conversation or brainstorm. Deep thoughts and all that shit, I am not into attention flings or "tryna to prove myself" rituals, fuck that

Go listen your average normie couple, most don't even follow current events, most don't even converse that much aside from typical everyday scenarios like going grocery shopping or going on a restaurant night-out

But this is also why you need to be a little more in-depth and less superficial-minded

In fact I don't care for women that are "eye candy'', in fact all I just want is honesty, transparency and just basic self-care. Obviously not gonna be attracted to some girl who looks like she just wakes up from bed everyday.

But social affairs of all kinds would improve dramatically if intellectual exchange became the norm overnite instead of "small talk" still being the norm, but since we live in an extrovert-oriented society, it all makese sense.
