I don’t know if you’ve ever been on tiktok but men already do all that you’ve mentioned. They do it on Instagram too. They just do it in a way that’s aesthetically pleasing to their following and the thirsty men and women that follow them eat it up. Not to mention male celebrities especially in hip hop, r&b, dance hall and sometimes pop can get very overtly sexual as well. For some reason people are just more scandalized when women do it. When men gyrate, run around half naked or simulate sex acts no one really cares besides super conservative Christians. When women do it all of a sudden there’s pearl clutching.

Legally speaking the limits are pretty similar for men and women. You can’t go out and about in public and fully expose any sex organs or publicly masturbate or have sex. If you get caught you risk being registered as a sex offender.

Socially a woman walking around half clothed in certain environments will draw more attention(positive and negative) than a man doing the same.

Another example. In New York it’s legal for both men and women to be topless. However a woman walking around with no shirt on nipples out and all will garner a very different reaction than a man doing the same nipples out and all. In the summer you’ll see a lot of men walking around shirtless and no one cares unless they’re trying to make entry into certain businesses that have a dress code. They’d stop, stare, and have words for a woman if she did that though.

I think it just means visibly not being ashamed of your sexuality. not being ashamed of your body. Not restricting your movement and dance based on fear someone will find it inappropriate.

I think hiistorically and across cultures dance has been linked to movements that can be considered sexual or erotic, sometimes purposefully (poll dancing or Geisha dancing) and sometimes traditional dances are sexualized after the fact (belly dancing) Its just a part of human self expression it feels natural and good to move your body.

I think it would be weird if a man just posted a video mimicking masturbation or something like that, but throw some music on and do a little magic mike action? I think thats fine!

Both men and women often use their sexuality in order to express themselves and sometimes just to please their audience. It doesn't mean it's the only way to do it though and most people find other outlets and forms they're comfortable with.

Personally I prefer to express my sexuality purely in the context of exclusive monogamous relationship. I'm comfortable enough to express it only with my husband and that's how it works for me.

Male artists, especially rappers, express their sexuality all the time, the only difference is that men sexualize women, while women sexualize themselves.

Lil Nas X is a notable exception to this.

It's a good question I've never actually thought about it in depth, because when you say it like that that is the first thing I think of is a musician putting out a really sexually charged and scandalous music video music video, especially if they had a cleaner image beforehand

I guess I'll just go with the textbook definition is that to express something is to make your thoughts or feelings known, then sexuality is in relation to your sexual feelings, your sexual preferences, I guess just to be confident in those I don't know

Imagining men posting videos on Instagram mimicking motions of sexual acts like pounding someone or masturbating, taking pictures of their behinds or their dick prints and being half naked in every music video just seems intrusive to me.

They do tho? Like if you've ever watched a male standup comedian talk about sex they all do this thing where they physically demonstrate thrusting. Male celebrities post thirst traps all the time, and calculate their image to be sexually appealing.

I dunno if "expressing your sexuality" is the best or most accurate phrasing, but being super sexy and getting attention for it is great for your career if you're a celebrity and still pretty fun if you aren't.
