My husband in my humble opinion is a very attractive older man - athletic, handsome, well built. Whereas I am built like a Shetland pony - short, stocky. He still has the ability to make me feel like the most beautiful person in the room even though I know pragmatically I am not. Mind you, I’m not ugly per se, but I’m certainly not a model or actress. But he makes me feel that way. I think that is an aspect of love.

For all the TRP whining about 'baiter' strategies, only the 'baiter' strategy 'works' to overcome a large differential in looks between the parties, i.e. 'being friends first.' Kindness and positive traits improve physical attractiveness (to the familiar parties) over time. After about 9-10 months, couples who have known each other for that amount of time show no correlation in physical attractiveness.

TRP shoehorns personality where it doesn't matter (casual sex) and scorns the one place where it does (long term relationships), then doubles down by recommending bad strategies for both.

I know an attractive man who dates a real rough looking woman. He does it because he has multiple children, criminal arrests, and is generally not mentally stable but she always takes him back because she loves showing him off to prove that an attractive man is interested in her despite the fact that she is ugly and also not smart. To her it increases her value and status. But that’s the answer that I find to be true to what I’ve seen but I don’t think that’s always the case. Sometimes people like the same things and enjoy peoples company.

Attractive men almost never date ugly women. Sure you can always find exceptions, but generally speaking, it does not happen. Attractive women will sometimes date men who aren’t physically attractive if they have something else going for them. Most couples are about equal.

That being said, just because most people initially chose to date someone based on looks, doesn’t mean love doesn’t exist. It just comes later, after the basic shallow requirements have been passed already. This is what people mean when they say “looks get your foot in the door.”

What makes a girl attractive to a lot of men isn’t just ass and boobs, that can attract you or make your wiener salute the flag.

However lots of men just want a chill girl who won’t be a mega bitch and whine and co plain like a new puppy all day long. Many men are willing to trade looks for personality.

Women who are still in their early chad chasing days assume all men are like chad and only care about how hot she is.

The problem with “hawt” girls and you can see this on their social media, is lots of them are really terrible people. They’re good for nothing but their temporary body and men may tolerate her horrible personality but she’s so entitled no one can stand them for long.

Then they wings online about being pumped and dumped, unaware that’s the only value they have.

A girlfriend that doesn’t make your life hell is far superior to these entitled narcissistic gold diggers at the club.

So sometimes Chad would rather be with someone that doesn’t make him believe suicide is the only way out.

Yeah but is that attractive man being faithful? How faithful is attractive man going to be if he has options? They say that the most loyal people are the ugly ones. The most loyal people are the ones with no options because they don't have any choice but to be loyal. Attractive people who who are getting sexual attentions from different directions are going to have way way hard on being loyal. I’ve always had a theory about “hot girl syndrome”. In a nutshell it’s girls/women who have been put on a pedestal and spoiled their entire lives. They don’t even realize when they project their massive double standards and they’re overtly cocky.

BUT…. They are a double edged sword particularly BECAUSE of their options. Because of their treatment their entire life, they don’t know how to react to “No.” or “I don’t give a shit, bye.” It’s almost like a short circuit in their brain… almost complete with the eye twitch and everything. They are 100% accustomed to men simping.

Sometimes guys just want to chill without attitude… and have a good meal brought to their place of business without asking. Or, maybe just a woman who isn’t constantly asking “who are you texting?”, “why don’t you ever call me?”, or the best one “You know I have (insert other perceived HVM here) offering to take me out all the time and you don’t even do (insert lame vaginal-minded fantasy here)!”

Guys will always eventually try and smash the good looking chick again. But once you spend some time with the spoiled ones, sometimes the lesser attractive chill ones are where it’s at.

…..they still can’t be ugly though.
