Because they've become normalised and most men expect them, or at least try to get them. Some women are people pleasers and want to give men nudes because they've learned that's what is expected a lot of the time.

If a woman has spent any time at all on the apps she knows if she doesn't send them the man will often lose interest.

The current crop of young women have grown up with these expectations and its been normalised to them.

Women are slightly more agreeable than guys. It makes men to be able to shift cultural values and norms more easily than women can. Very agreeable young people (mostly women), often times believe that they can't have boundaries or feel guilty for any boundary they set. Culture protects those kind of people from exploitation.

Manipulative end of the population of horny guys have been pressuring women towards sexual acts for almost forever.

Since the pill and atheism being on the rise. The huge cultural taboo against sex before marriage had been getting eroded. Because more women gave in it slowly shifted culture. Until it became normal. Because of the red pills three date rule I fully expect that it will eventually be considered normal. And most women will start to feel ashamed of not sleeping with guys on the first three dates.

Something similar happened to nudes, many guys press the boundary, many women give in. And the culture starts shifting which makes nudes normalized. Most women start to feel bad that they aren't sending nudes, despite being uncomfortable.

Fuck modern culture.

Instant gratification.

Hearing a man say “wow you’re so sexy!” is addictive. For many young women, especially those with mental health issues, male validation is a social currency. The more “likes” you get on your thirst traps, the higher you are in the female hierarchy.

And no, I’m not some braindead incel. I’m a woman and this was my experience when dating. When my husband’s ex decided she had a problem with me, she started posting thirst traps with thinly-veiled captions about how she was hotter than me and he “downgraded.” Even though my husband chose me and wanted to be with me, she could still “win” by being hotter than me and convincing our entire social circle that he “downgraded.”

And she’s not the only one. I’m friends on social media with a lot of women that I went to high school with. They will post sexy pictures and then get a fuck ton of attention and that makes them feel better than all the other women they hate/have drama with.

So sending nudes is just another version of that. If a woman sends a nude to a guy, not only does he tell her she’s hot (free points added to the self-esteem meter), but now he’s going to go around and tell other people how hot she is. And having the reputation of “the hot girl” means you’re socially untouchable. Other women can do nothing to hurt you as long as you feel like you’re hotter than them. No other girl can bother you or steal your man or make you feel jealous if you’re “the hot girl.”

I don’t think a lot of men realize that a lot of these women you’re talking to are cam girls and/or sex workers looking for clients, not women looking for a relationship or even companionship. Dating apps are absolute cesspools if you’re looking for real connection.

Because a lot of guys have zero game.

They know they’re not gonna fuck this girl, so they text forever and eventually work up the nerve to ask for nudes. That’s the best they’re gonna get.

Me? I use texting for logistics to setup a date as quickly as possible after matching, so I’m not competing with the other 50 guys texting her.

Because they're under a lot more pressure to do so, in large part due to the popularity of porn meaning there's high demand for sexualised images of anything you like. Men often act like it's all they're after, and women often try to please.

Idk but what those women don't get is that it's also kind of a turn off at least in the sense of seeing relationship potential due to the fact it's very clear they just have them holstered and ready to go. Possibly even just a total turn off.

I'd recommend the strategy of at least pretending they're taking it just for you in that moment so it's not such a clear signal that you should see them as only sex objects if they have any other goal in mind
