I don't think this is commentary on explicitly what is a high value and what is low value. It's commentary on people who want a partner who contributes more without them contributing themselves, and only succeeding/having this option because of biases in the dating market. It's this Machiavellian take on life where you seek to maximize your gain with the smallest cost, that a lot of people don't sit well with.

Realistically I think every man (and I'm speaking as a man) values different things. As a humorous aside, there's always a joke about how some men like tits and others like ass. For those who say "high-value" women are typically only talking about it from their point of view, which is backed by social constructs of beauty. The conservative take on this is femininity, youthfulness, fertility, agreeableness.

Personally I think putting people on a 1 dimensional scale of "value" is a shitty model of dating. I think what matters more is not what society thinks of a man or a woman, but what you think of an individual. At the end of the day, the most important thing is compatibility and matching, and forming a partnership that's stable, self reinforcing, and mutually beneficial. People should be talking more about high value partnerships, rather than high value people.

High Value - Good at conversation, has her own house, car, and well paying job (I do too myself). Plus she is attractive and physicallyfit, has hobbies, and mentally stable.

Average: attractive but not physically fit (sometimes no where close) has some debt, some trauma or baggage(which is fine, unless they're bitter) Terrible at keeping a convo up, has no to very little hobbies.

High value women have same traits in my opinion what women assigned to high value men.

Height ,not saying 6ft+ but if shes 5'6-5'11 its way better. Plus it ensures taller children as well.
Weight, obese regardless of gender is not desired.
Face,physique. Same rules that they apply to men, apply to them. Good face,good ass,good pussy,long legs>>>

A High value woman (by most men’s definition at least) would be any women with all or at least most of the following traits :

-Highly physically attractive objectively (not like in that bullshit “everyone’s beautiful” kind of way. But like she could legitimately model or something.)

-naturally feminine (in terms of body language, voice, mannerisms, etc.)

-highly submissive/agreeable (but not to everyone, just the guy she likes)

-low body count/hard to get (with every guy, not just certain guys)

-in the prime years of fertility.

-at least partially intelligent.

-good conversationalist.

-very motherly, and family focused

-Doesn’t hate or demonize men blindly.

I would say that if she checks off at least 6/9 of these, most men will see her as a very, very high value woman. There will obviously be exceptions of course, but we’re speaking in general terms.

First attraction. Where she lands on that scale, dictates how’s she perceived. Second Peace. How much she contributes, is invaluable. Personally after those two, I value self awareness, and attitude towards change.

A measurable, categorisable way of what what's high value?

I feel like most guys are just commenting what they're attracted to not necessarily what differentiates one attraction form another.

I'd say a woman who has a great ability to self reflect on her own behaviour, even more so when to admit that she's in the wrong.

Degree of drive, critical thinking and standarts for self worth I'd say are also distinguishing quality that certainly make a woman a more unique, memorable individual. Hard to dissect the differences individually but women who have a higher education degree like a bachelor's, Masters or Doctorate degree are so much more interesting and enjoyable to be around that women who only care about the party this weekend, next weekend and all the weekends after that if that makes sense.

Last I'd say is values that positively impact the rest of the people around her? Like being healthy and trying to remind other to be healthy, whether to cook healthier meals, exercise more or other things. A sort of individual who creates positive feedback loops around the people who she surrounds herself with. If you're with a woman like that, it's bound to that she'll teach you a thing or two on how to improve your own life as well.

In the past, this one trait was often overlooked if she was hot. Thankfully, most guys are picking up on this now. How I determine low and high value is if a woman is Emotionally intelligent.

How often do we see people in general go on tirades on people working in retail, service, etc? I can't stand that. I watched a friend once go on a tirade towards people working at Bath and Body works because her pickup order didn't register at the store, or will make comments on how long it takes the server to get to our table. I can't stand that.

I value a woman who can laugh off pretty much everything, because I do.

My opinion will be unpopular but it's 100% correct. A woman is only a high value woman insofar as she can attract and keep a high value man.

Jackie Kennedy, Kate Middleton, Alma Powell, Coretta Scott King, Barbara Bush, Michelle Obama and Melinda Gates (despite the divorce) are high value women by virtue of the position their husbands held in society. The thin, big tittied skank whose boyfriend drives a forklift is not.

I think a lot of guys just get off to calling women average because it typically gets a reaction from women. They like the idea of a woman who probably has been told she’s beautiful 100s of times being told differently for once.

But assuming your context of a “high value woman” is a woman worthy of a relationship/marriage with a desirable man, it would take a long time to outline all the good relationship qualities a woman can have. I’m not going to proclaim myself an expert on the matter either. But since to my understanding, most of the guys on here are people who have had little to no relationships, most of them probably won’t have a great answer either and will likely say something like “feminine, submissive, and hot.” Hopefully I’ll be wrong. But still, since some men appreciate different things in women, it’s hard to come up with a universal agreement on what a “high value woman” is.

But what I will say in my opinion, a very distinguishable trait in a good woman is someone who appreciates men. It’s someone who can distinguish that yes there’s men who will cat call you and send unsolicited dick pics. But also that there’s men who built the house you live in, are willing to fight wars to protect you and the country you live in, and contribute to good causes. The more common alternative at least for long term, single women is looking down on men whether it be condescendingly or an outright distaste for them. And when they find a partner they essentially view him as the exception. If I hear a woman talking about how bad men are, that tells me she frequently surrounds herself with bad men and is attracted to bad men. Which likely means she’s not a great woman. Unhealthy people attract and are attracted to other unhealthy people. I think a few big things lead many women to have a negative overall view towards men.

First, I think from a young age, girls are being told by overprotective parents that since there’s bad men out there, they should avoid men. Instead parents should be teaching their daughters how to vet for good men, and the benefits a good man can bring.

Second, an obvious one is women’s negative experiences with bad men. Have enough bad experiences and you’ll start to think almost all men are that way. Maybe having all these bad experiences are due to not knowing how to vet well. Maybe it’s due to some women being attracted to negative traits.

Thirdly, and this is moreso for good looking women, is their experiences with simps. It can be a challenge to have an overall respect for men when many are willing to basically worship you.

There is no high value woman - that's a BS term made by women to separate themselves from the crowd. It's purely ego based.

Men want a woman that contributes to their life. Some men only really have the need for sex and cuddles and someone to pay their bail, others want a mommy, a friend, a life coach that can chip in with rent (makes you cream your seat just by hearing that) - others that women call "high value" want a woman to be their life parrtner, sex, homemaker, vacation planning, mother of their children, cook, interior decorator, boxer brief steamer.

This is the crucial part: Any woman can fulfill any role if they are dedicated to that man and are willing to make the effort. It's a natural reflex for women to enhance the life of their man. That's just how they love. But do you want to? Do you have the temperament that pushes you to make the best out of any relationship or are you always looking at the grass is always greener? Are you thinking of relationships in terms of well he didn't kiss my mom last week, so I'll just leave the laundry there and keep his briefs unsteamed until he figures out I am angry and he apologizes. Because if you do - regardless of social class, or the social class of your man - you are a problem and only men with no options or men that don't really care about you will stay with you.

That's why fuckboys, or "low value" men are a thing. They are just men that learned that you can get sex by not having expectations, being patient and exchanging pleasantries, while at the same time they realized women want you to jump through hoops for anything comforting, for any care or support. Men that realized that if you want to have someone to care for and wake up next to every morning, you need to change your life for the worst.

On a macro scale, you can model mating as an economic market. It is not the only way to look at it, but it is one way; and using this model can be very illuminating. On the other hand, on an individual level, it's a bit dangerous to get fixated on viewing dating as an economy.

In the context of modeling mating and sex as a marketplace, high and low value simply means 'high mate value' and 'low mate value'. Nothing more or nothing less. It is true that there is a lot of individual variation in what people find attractive, but there are more than enough commonalities for these terms to do a lot of work.

For women, high mate value is mostly about youthfulness and appearance as that is what men primarily select for. For men, high mate value is a more complex combination of appearance, status, resources and charisma. This is why ''high mate value" men tend to also be high status, upper class men.

However, circumstances, including the women already in a man's life (the FSM that includes mothers, sisters, female coworkers, female bosses, wives of friends and coworkers, etc.) actually imposes some constraints on male mate choice, especially as you go up in class. So men, especially higher class men, have to also think about whether a potential mate can get along with these women and fit into their circle, or would she embarrass him and cause problems? This is where a woman's style, accomplishments, class level, status etc. matter. They do impact her mate value to some degree. The difference is that these factors in a man are a lot more directly attractive, even sexually attractive, to women than they are attractive to a man considering them in a woman. In the man's case, he just has to consciously factor them in, often overriding his more primal urges.

A woman's income level is a similar factor. It is not directly attractive, and in many cases it can be unattractive as the prospects of satisfying her likely hypergamy are intimidating. Nevertheless, most modern men have to consider the lifestyle they aspire to for themselves and their children, and understand that their own income will not be enough.

So on the whole, a woman's mate value is her youthfulness and appearance. Personality can add to it if she is especially charming, but it is much easier for a negative personality to subtract from it. In addition, for the higher mate value males that women tend to want, certain thresholds in income or classiness may need to be met. It should be noted that accomplishment per se is not that important; it only matters insofar as it produces income, if needed, or the increases the ability of a woman to get along in a man's social circle. But a woman of low actual accomplishment who can still mingle successfully with a man's social network. perhaps just based on natural intelligence and/or social skills, can also meet this threshold.

Value is less related to income and more related to status for women. So in my opinion a woman who is an accredited writer or a model is "higher value" in the dating market then someone who makes more income from a less glamorous title. I feel like for a woman its easier to become high value then it is for a man, however the path is much less clear, which makes it equally as difficult.

Attractive (as possible, but I'd say at least a 7)

open/Honest/trustworthy (I'd say this is the biggest part of being undamaged. Baggage tends to make people less trusting and therefore less honest and open)

Loyal

Feminine (Personally I don't need a girl to be THAT feminine I just dont' want her to be rude or crass)

Everything else is just about shared interests and personality compatibility, but imo everyone would agree that a woman who is attractive, honest, feminine, and loyal is a high value woman.
