I feel so great that I never had to pay a dime in alimony. She was unemployed, refused to work. And the judge didn't buy it. 11 year marriage down the tubes and she thought because she passed the 10 year marker, that she was entitled to that alimony.

And my judge shot her down! It felt awesome.

I’m very glad that I wasn’t forced to pay alimony… I did have to pay 65 percent of debt though and ex had run up the bills so high it was similar to an alimony payment for three years. Congrats on another milestone hit. You’re proof once again that the worst does pass.

Dodged alimony, but just over 7 years left of the child support clock.

I love my kids, but don’t love paying her for 50/50.

There will be an endzone dance and a tailgate BBQ once it is officially over.

Sounds nice I'm glad you were able to do that. I'm about to embark on lifetime alimony myself doing the math she's going to make more than me because I showed that I made a lot of money for financial statements and things like this for business purposes at the end of the day though I didn't make as much as paperwork shows.

Don’t have alimony but I’ve got 2yrs left to run in my child support and I’m so looking forward to that day. Not because I don’t love my children, but I will be able to support and help them directly without their mother siphoning off funds for her personal expenses. I know all the money I give is not used exclusively for them and it really burns me. I know I will get a phone call from her pleading to continue the process but I won’t. Without the CS she’s going to be pretty broke as she’s done nothing with her career for the last 20yrs and still earns pretty much the same amount as when I first met her.
