My husband was a virgin when we started dating, and so was I.

I would have been less attracted to him if he had a high body count. I know this because he initially lied to me about his body count (he was young and dumb). He eventually admitted to being a virgin and my attraction to him increased.

My husband and I were both virgins before we married, and as a virgin I strongly prefered a virgin. I would not trust a man with a high "body count" and I consider a high voluntary body count as immoral (for both men and women).

I prefer a man with a count similar to mine. I’m not into men with high body counts and will think of less of him if the count is too high. It just comes off as kind of trashy to me and show signs of what I perceive as desperation and lack of self control. Just not traits I see in a future husband or father of my future kids. But similarly, I wouldn’t commit to a man who was a virgin either. So a count that’s on par with mine is the sweet spot.

In general, women tend to prefer men with counts that are near their own. Personally, I find casual sex gross so I don't participate in it and don't want someone who participated in it. Got with a virgin and that was ideal in my opinion. I know other women who sleep around thinks it gives them expertise and want a partner with that expertise. It's all about compatibility.

Moderate to high count is preferred. I’d want him to be well-rounded and have lived a life full of experiences with other women so he knows his boundaries and what he likes. You have to experience pain, it’s part of life. Shame that certain males can’t give us the same allowance but I digress.

I’ve literally told women I’ve been with women in the triple digits and it hasn’t bothers them one bit. If the attraction is high enough, it probably doesn’t matter.

That being said, if you’re really experienced and she’s not, that can make her super insecure. So play that down if you can.

We all think we know what both groups think

For every woman that you can find in person that says they do not care, you can also find in person men that say they do not care.

Of course, body count, and its importance is just a social construct! Some men, in the west, care but not enough for it to be a political program like in Iran for example.

A man goes with 100 women, not a big deal. A woman goes with 100 men, she's a socially accepted slut. Heck, she can be a slut even if she were to act like Trump.

But in person, in the real world, not many people give a flying fuck - at least in the west where humans are free (regardless whether they have a use vigina or a used dick).

Of course, no matter what topic you open, you can find people that are into it. Flat earth for example - tons of people believe in it. A dude that walked on water and is going to be resurrected, tons people believe you, yes you, are going to hell (even if you are a "christian") for the fact that you don't take the bible seriously.

But in the real world very few men give a fuck

Like most people I prefer people around my own number. My husband’s is higher than mine by quite a bit though. He’s also 7 years older than me so he had more time to build his. But he also gave me his std test results without me having to ask and he’s been monogamous with me even when we were still what would be considered casual. Also we’re a lot older than most of y’all.

I know men get the ick about women who have slept with a lot of men, and I get the same ick about men who sleep around.

What goes through my mind is usually — “really? You’re that pussy obsessed?” And it makes me lose respect for him. There’s usually something mentally wrong with high n count men (for my age, I’m using the number 10+) as there is with high n count women.
