Some men are still coming to grips with the fact that women only accepted them, as is, when they had no other choice. It's killing so many men to learn that women only paired with them because they legally lacked self-determination and not because of some bullshit Disney/Hallmark fairy tale. They really believed that women were biologically wired to WANT to serve them. Even if women did feel that way at some point, evolution seems to have kicked in. The moment women obtained CHOICE, half of men were left looking for partners. Bald, fat, short, poor, small penis, "ugly" men have literally been left drowning in their loneliness as women have been able to obtain status and money of their own. It will be even worse when these men either commit suicide or die lonely themselves only to watch many women commune together without men. They will soon discover that their "feminist will die lonely" cope is exactly that: a cope. Women, feminist or not will be just fine with or without men. Sex toys and automation will be more than enough for women who choose to go their own way and there will be more than enough men for women who desire a partner.

This doesn't make much sense. You basically confirm it exists and counter your own claim that it's "revenge porn cope." Nobody ever said that "the wall" meant "Nobody wants to hang out with you or speak to you anymore." It's always been "you're sexually unattractive to most of the opposite sex." It was never about women finding other older women to hang with while joining book clubs, playing bingo or knitting sweaters.

The differences in male and female loneliness you're pointing out are just a common difference between the sexes and has nothing to do with The Wall.

You've forgotten the actual thing that makes it suck for many women, which is that for the first time in literal decades, they've lost a set of privileges' most of them haven't fully realized even exist. Most of the older women I know want to date still. Hell, several of them divorced their husbands explicitly looking for more "excitement". Hell to go even further some of them have tried to go after me. I've seen the wall up close enough to know it seriously affects many women.

The difference is that most of them never actually learned good communication skills and are used to using the fact that they were desired as a crutch to make things happen, or used it as leverage for a relationship with men who are no longer desperate. I've had to interact with enough older women who were literally crying at how their love lives, and honestly lives in general, were going, more or less always because their safety net of being a young woman got taken away and they simply don't know how to interact with the world without it.

I would go so far as to say this is the logical end point of romance for many women. They love the idea that things "just happen" or that men put in a whole lot of effort without them putting in effort in return. But once the effort from the other party dials down most of them genuinely don't even know how to put in effort themselves, because they never had to and didn't want to until that point.

Both men and women hit a wall, men hit two while women hit one. I like to think of it like climbing a hill. Men start at the bottom and have to work their way up (high school, college, long hours at work) until they reach the top. They have to take in the view(date, casual sex, marriage) before they get pushed back down. When they get pushed they are likely to know how to regain control because they know the hill. Women start at the top(high school, college, early twenties) and live it up, like they should. However, when they get pushed down they can’t regain control as easy and it can get pretty ugly depending on who’s falling. Those memories of her “crazy days” don’t mean anything when they have to reminisce with their cats.

I don't think the wall is necessarily a physical looks matter. To me the wall is that age when women start feeling the click ticking if they want to become mothers/marry (some don't of course). That's why I wouldn't date anyone over 30, not because her looks fade overnight, but because her priorities change drastically. And while I would be ok with that with someone I have dated for a few years, definitely I'm not gonna embark in a blind life changing decision with someone I barely know.

Many young people live with their parents well into their late 20s these days. Idk in my culture its pretty common for grandma to live with her adult kids and help them with their kids.

The wall is basically a shift in how you can be successful to have sex and/or relations.

For men, there is no such shift. The success rate obviously peak in the late 20s and early 30s but there is no difference between how you attract women at 20 or at 40: see TRP.

However, for women there is a shift of what consists a successful way. In their prime, they are pursued, but suddenly they are no longer pursued, and thus need to realize that they do have to pursue themselves, something they are not used to. This is the wall. And it does not happen at 50 for women, it happens 2 decades earlier. At 30 women who are not paired find themselves to have to actively pursue men instead of just selecting the best suitor.

A 50 years old man is going to get a 38 years old women as a second wife, and maybe a late kid. This is not true for a 50 years old woman. Let's stop ignoring biology...

40,s and 50,s is not old by any means in modern society. I was using dating sites only a few years ago, before I met my partner in my early 40s and my options were spiraling out of control. I had men from 21+ that had no care of my age. Men on the other hand had slim pickings.. The only men that seemed to be successful in dating sites have money.. We over 40 are sure of ourselves, more confident and will tolerate less.. some men are intimidated by this others are completely attracted to it.. I’m not sure what you mean by “the wall?”

The Wall is an abstract concept that is meant to denote a stage in a woman's life where she starts to becomes less physically and sociably desirable by those men whom she would prefer to have.

In simple words: It's when a woman's peak attractiveness starts to decline and never bounces back.

Now there is no actual set age for when The Wall hits. Some women stay hot well into their 40's depending on how they take care of themselves. All those 20yo girls you see in frat parties binging and staying up all night and doing coke and banging every frat boy in sight usually hit the wall hard and fast, usually before they turn 30. Some girls hit the wall as early as 23! All because they fuck up their health or they adopt a shit demeanor and attitude that ruins their whole humanity.

Other women are more health conscious and take care of themselves - physically and mentally - and manage to preserve their beauty and attractiveness well beyond 30, for example Kate Beckinsale and Jennifer Connelly have managed to defeat the wall not just in the looks department but they have also retained their feminine personality and allure without becoming bitter or jaded with age as some women become.

While others like Lindsay Lohan smashed into the wall hard as if it wasn't there.

So the wall definitely exists. It hits different women at different times. Some of it depends on genetics, some of it depends on choices, and a lot of it depends on a combination of both.
