What is/are the one or two behaviors that led you to get divorced (other than infidelity, falling out of love, no sex or domestic violence/crime)? Mostly, smaller things that became a huge deal and then unbearable. I'll start.

  • My wife would endlessly correct me and other people about everything. It actually became pathological and everyone separated from her at her job and social life. I am sure I had some fault about it, but she always had this tendency and it got worse as she had issues with her career. It just became unbearable.
  • She is mentally unable to apologize. Seems like she had some abuse issues with family that made her literally unable to say "I'm sorry". She would say it at work, in order to get something. But socially and with family, she would NEVER say that. Even when she was completely wrong. Then when she did, she made sure that it was with a patronizing tone. (like "i'm sorry, are you happy now?")

Mind you, I am huge on apologies. If I am wrong, I say am sorry right away so that everyone (including me) can move on. I don't dwell on it though.

Both of these led to lack of sex and no communication.
