Over the past few years I was unintentional running my own social experiment. I have been picking up extra hours at a local hookah lounge as a supervisor in a college town. One of the first things I ask new hires during training is if they played sports, extracurricular clubs, in choir and or band/orchestra or in a band. I am/was asking if they were in a prior environment where they had to "play well" with others, unintentionally with women.

Reflecting while writing this, I thought of my high school and college experience especially since the majority of the staff are college students. I was in choir and played rugby in both, is that the majority if not all of the popular boys/men were in more than one of these groups even if was only another sport.

One of the biggest things I noticed is the men who did more than one just in high school, even if they had a girlfriend, are/were more successful in their relationship or their pursuit there of one than men who didn't.
