An exchange I had on the TwoXChromosomes post about misandry.

I don't hate men. I love men. But I am afraid of men because I have seen first hand how bad so many of them can be. I've been hit, verbally abused, had a gun pointed at me, lied to, cheated on, and seen a million other things done to other women first hand. So I am very wary of most of them.

I know there are good men out there. But it is so hard to tell who is an actual good man and who is a ticking time bomb.

Me: "I don't hate black people. I love black people. But I am afraid of black people because I have seen first hand how bad so many of them can be. I've been hit, verbally abused, had a gun pointed at me, lied to, cheated on, and seen a million other things done to other white people first hand. So I am very wary of most of them.

I know there are good black people out there. But it is so hard to tell who is an actual good black person and who is a ticking time bomb."

That is gross and racist as fuck. You are also not making the point you think you are.

And since I'm in a mood today, I'm going to go out on a limb and say you are exactly the kind of tighty-whitey underwear skidmark of a man who either fits my above description, comes close to it. Otherwise, why would you be so sensitive?

See, it's different when it's about men because...like...well...I'm the one saying it and I'm not a bad person! No, you don't understand, a man actually lied to me!

And of course I was banned for it, probably for "racism." You know what might be for effective than changing "men" to "black people" is finding actual instances of racists saying the same exact shit as these people do to justify their hatred. Although the "men kompf" thing is fun like mad libs. You never know quite how racist it's going to sound until it's done.
