Statistically most people don't cheat. What you're experiencing is most likely perception bias - you pay more attention to women who are ready to cheat on their partners and you forget about lots of women who aren't cheaters. It also might be a sample bias, i.e. for some reason your social circle has more cheating women than a general population.

I don't think that's true. I think when PPD men say "women are never single" what they actually mean is that women often have someone interested in or orbiting them - whether or not she returns the interest. That doesn't mean she cheats and it doesn't mean she isn't single, just that the opportunity to not be single is there. At least, I think that is what they are trying to say. I think it's dumb logic, but they seem fond of it.

Attractive women are often single and every woman is single for some prolonged points (I love how you ignore the majority of women, who aren't considered especially attractive). Some women and some men cheat, but many don't and only enter relationships one at a time. Generally thinking a relationship has reached its end results in, guess what, ending it.

A lot of people of both bio sexes and other orientations and identities cheat, probably 40% max. This includes those who have cheated and are currently lying about it, those who were caught cheating, and those who once cheated and came clean about it, and people who cheated in a minor way even when they were in 8th grade.

I have cheated, I came clean about it and admitted it. I think a lot of other people do, too

99.99-100% of people cheat if cheating means letting your eyes wander and fantasizing and sometimes expressing resentment to their partner, direct or accidental, over not being able to act on their impulses.

I’ll bet 50-90% of people cheat if cheating means actively flirting with the intent of developing the atmosphere of pursuing an affair , just for the thrill ALMOST doing something, but then stopping themself.

I also think that 50-90% of people cheat, if cheating is defined to include lying about what kind of adult videos they’re warching when their partner isn’t looking.

Of course, most people won’t admit this stuff. Most of you all won’t admit you eat your boogers either. I admit to all of this, personally, and it was the most transformative step I’ve ever taken in my life, to admit all of my wrongs

Obviously not all women cheat, but cheating like behavior is unfortunatly common.

Full on having sex with another man while having a boyfriend is not as common. Most women don't do that, though plenty definitely do.

Monkey branching is the socially acceptable "cheating light": a woman who is tired of her bf will get a male friend she's flirty with. Hang out with him "as friends", but flirt the whole time. She'll then dump her boyfriend and go on official dates with the new guy. Not all women do this either, but it's much more common, especially among very attractive women.

it's pretty bad. our culture has an ambient moral relativism that is pushed through every channel of entertainment. mix this with materialism (we iz jus animals broooo) and you basically have a group of people who are almost compelled to satisfy every hedonic impulse. some of these girls will say it 'wasn't them' when they were cheating and to be honest I believe it. they are just playing out what's in the air and call it what you like but it's a form of possession. also the girls who complain the most about depression or mental health are by far the worst offenders.

Many attractive women are absolutely not in committed relationships. A lot of attractive women get dumped or just don't want to date in this moment, or are just casually seeing people.

Both men and women cheat, no doubt. Not all men and not all women cheat. Common sense.

There are three kinds of men:

The ones who say "my girlfriend didn't cheat on me, and she would never cheat".

The ones who say "my girlfriend hasn't cheated on me.. yet".

And the ones who say "as far as I know, my girlfriend hasn't cheated on me yet".

The first one is likely wrong, the second is half way there, the last one is spot on.

The truth is, you don't know if your girlfriend hasn't cheated on you, and you will never know if she's the kind of that cheats.

Why? Simple. I'll give you another example.

Stacy is a fun girl. Jim is a good guy. Chris is a hard worker. Becky is a loyal girlfriend.

Stacy is fun girl because she loves to hang around people and fool around and make sure everyone has a good time. Will she be boring someday? Well, probably, if she's depressed because her boyfriend dumped her, or when she's sad because her dog died.

Jim is a good guy because he always take care of other people and don't have problems with nobody. When will he stop to be a good guy? When someone pisses him and he has enough of getting pushed around.

Chris is a hard worker because he loves to work and he loves feeling useful. Will he always be hard worker? Well, may be his boss doesn't appreciate him as an employee, or mat be he doesn't give Chris the rise he promised. Then Chris will feel discouraged from working hard.

Becky is a loyal girlfriend.

Why?

Because she doesn't see a reasson to cheat, she's happy with her boyfriend... And the oportunity to cheat didn't presente to her. Yet.

Being TALL is something inmutable. Being BLACK is inmutable. Being BLOND is inmutable.

Those are traits.

Being hard working, good, bad, fun, boring or loyal are not traits. Those are circunstances. And circunstances can change.

I think there was actually a study that unattractive women are more likely to cheat that more attractive women (but this was not the case for attractive vs unattractive men). Relationship dissatisfaction is also linked with likelihood of cheating for women.

My husband and I became ethically non-monogamous after a decade of his (occasional) infidelities. Cheating was never really something I even thought about and now that we’re open I don’t have to. I have my aventures and he has his and we still have a strong marriage and sex life together

Hot take: Insecure women are more likely to cheat- not attractive women.

Sex for women usually isn't that much pleasure-oriented since most women can't orgasm from it at all, let alone with a person that doesn't even know their body. Women usually desire sex for its intimacy and vulnerability instead.

After my first relationship ended with my ex cheating, I found myself feeling worthless and insecure. I tried to remedy this by sleeping around. I rationalized that if other people expressed their undeniable attraction to me, I would have no other choice than to believe I wasn't as appalling as I felt.

Unfortunately, I never found what I was looking for. There still hasn't been a day where I felt pretty, but I know many people find me very attractive nonetheless.

I recently went through a breakup. There hasn't been a single urge to find chemistry with someone else because I know I can. I know other people find me attractive so I don't have to look for that validation.

Unfortunately, he only told me this when I was already living with him. This mentality is obviously absolutely disgusting.

People cheat more when they are young. College-age men and women cheat wantonly. Most people grow up.

Paternity tests are often cited as evidence of widespread cheating. You'll see claims that 30% of paternity tests are negative; i.e. the tested male is not the father.

However those claims are made from highly biased sample sets because most people only request a paternity test if paternity is in doubt.

I have 100% known girls who have cheated on me and I have seen them continue the pattern people call 'monkey branching' afterwards (I had a kid with one and we were a family so big L there) the other we were in a common friend group.

Oddly enough both of their mothers (and in one case other family members) were cheaters. Some before and some after we broke up.

I do think women often have guys they know are interested in them and maybe they are interested in them but not so much right now but keep them on the back burner.
