I suppose I am an outlier here.

Loved my wife with every fiber of my being.

Loved our 15 years together.

Enjoyed all of our experiences.

Was always willing to communicate.

Literally NEVER fought in 15 years.

Friends all asked us for advice because they wanted to have a marriage like ours.

I helped her through her masters degree and then her doctoral degree.

Gave up a successful 6-figure career so she could pursue her dreams.

Sold my paid-off home and 2 acres of land to fund HER dreams and move across country.

Took care of her through 8 surgeries and recoveries. Became a home-healthcare nurse for her.

The stress got to me and a doctor put me on an antidepressant. The antidepressant caused me to become MORE depressed and suicidal. This scared her and triggered DEEP PTSD from her childhood.

Came off the meds and recovered but she never treated me like her husband again.

I tried to communicate with her for years. Sex stopped. Pandemic hit.

The night before we watched movies and laughed together.

The next morning she made me breakfast, told he what an “amazing” person I am, and kissed me goodbye.

I come home with takeout for dinner…

Whole house empty. She moved. Security cameras destroyed. Ring doorbell deactivated.

I send her the FIRST upset text EVER! I said “This was not the way it was supposed to end.”

She runs to cops and says that’s a “murder/suicide” death threat.

I’m charged with domestic violence and attempted marital rape! No proof. No truth. I’m considered guilty anyway.

120K in lawyers fees to defend myself.

Ended up homeless, jobless, and living in my car.

2 years later…never heard from her again.

Still can’t find a living-wage job. Renting an 8X8 room.

Depressed EVERY day and will never have closure.

Assuming I will die poor and alone as I am 50 now.

Just trying to hang on and STILL love the person who hates me! I’ll never understand why.

It never ends. It’s a living hell.
