I'm going to repeat what I've been saying for a while. "Twitter, social media, etc" are not real places. Most people aren't bragging openly about dicks being good or pussies being loose. Maybe in their inner circle of friends. In my 28 years of existence, I have yet to listen to a friend loudly openly publicly brag about DICK for everyone to hear about.

So, what you did is compare the professional setting of work to social media, based on the premise that saying anything like that would be inappropriate at work.

Like, people say all kinds of crazy shit on social media. The fact that you are being trained its not okay to do that at work answers the question in and of itself. Moreover, its evidence that society agrees those kinds of posts are too far and is taking measures to combat it affecting work or the world outside social media.

I can't tell if you are trying to advance an agenda here, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Yes, those posts are too far, and you experienced society pushing back.

Personally, I've not heard women discuss men like that, but I also haven't heard the stereotypical "locker room talk" where men discuss women crudely.

I think this is gross behavior from anyone, and it doesn't seem quite fair to describe this kind of talk as a discussion of "female sexuality." So I'll say "no" to the title of the post but agree with the body of the post that this is gross.

I think talking about sex and stuff like that is weird if done at work or in front of family (specifically parents, grandparents, etc.) but it’s fine to do with certain friends.

The ones being really open about it on social media are either trying to market their OF content or they’re looking for male sexual attention/simps.

Can you imagine if men were allowed to talk about post wall used up dry pussy and no one got canceled, jailed, or banned? Men often talk about pussy being good or casually refer to women as bitch, cunt, hoe, thot, etc. It's not generally remarked upon. In general, women are so objectified it's embedded into global culture. So I don't think remarking on women potentially, sometimes, rarely, objectifying men is avoiding the elephant in the room.

I've only ever seen this in memes, and not memes that were being shared by anyone. So no, I can't say that it is that common for women to actually do. Maybe they're in different industries than I have ever been near? I can't imagine anyone I know saying a man is "dick" like that in public.

The most I've ever seen or done in a workplace was that once an extremely cute police officer stopped by for certain job related reasons. (Aren't meth labs a delight). At the end of the day me, another single girl in the office, and our male boss were sitting there and she turned to me and said, "he was really cute" and I said, "oh for sure. Very nice smile." And then he said, "what would you do if HR heard you guys saying that? (he was joking)". And we both looked at each other and I said, "I'm prepared to defend in court that he was objectively cute and dreamy if it comes to that. I'd have to get his number so he could appear as evidence at my trial". And that's pretty common, I can admit. But, I dunno, I don't feel like observing a man is cute or a woman is cute to a coworker is like the same as saying someone is good pussy or good dick.

I realize of course this could be deemed as inappropriate for the workplace, but it was all said very innocently and respectfully.

Female sexuality is in general paid too much attention to in society.

For the most part if you and her going at it vanilla style isn't "enough" for her you should just ditch her.

No guy with an actual life is trying to sign on for another job

And you'll find that a woman is truly sexually excited by you, it won't take much.

Sexual openness, in its current form, is a problem in general. We've replaced one problem with another. Abuse used to be covered up, now it's brazenly talked about, and you're not a feminist if you push back against it at all. Both are wrong, but only one is celebrated. It's not a problem exclusive to women at all.

Something can be sexual harassment if said in an office, but perfectly fine if said online.

Remember sexual harassment rules are in place because people are forced to work together and share the same environment in a workplace.

The rules for what is sexual harassment outside of work are lower because it’s much easier to just walk away or not engage with someone. Which is why I can talk about dick or pussy in a public park loudly and no one can have me arrested or get me in trouble.

Context and environment is everything.

The words people choose to use in social media spaces to describe people are absolutely not the bench mark for what flies in any professional environment, or really any real life environment. Work, in particular, is an environment most people do not choose to be in and cannot just up and leave whenever they choose, regardless of the reason. Participating in social media is a choice and you can leave whatever page or site or app you are on at anytime for any reason.

So they have different standards of professional conduct.

The specific work place example you present, if you changed the gender, would still be a form of sexual harassment. That particular example is not gender specific, it’s content specific.

I'm most upset about it being sexual harassment. I'm tired of what were once extreme categories being expanded to include any kind of infraction. A bit bigoted about women in some way? Now you are a full misogynist along with guys who want to wipe women from the face of the planet or chain them up. 'Racist' now includes any kind of racial bigotry. Nuance is so dead.

And yes, partly because it is all or nothing now, whichever group has more oppression or victimization points can often get more of a pass on any infraction. It is all so stupid.

I honestly am struggling to understand the question.

But from what I'm getting at describing someone just based on their genitalia's performance is objectifying (misogynistic for pussy and misandrist for dick).
