I have noticed lately that this subreddit has become flooded with negative posts that basically imply that the whole idea of going out and meeting women is stupid and a waste of time.

First, if you really believe that, why are you even here? Go to the cooking or video games subreddit or somewhere that actually interests you. I don't go to the freestyle walking subreddit and tell them how much I think freestyle walking is a waste of time, so why are you here?

Second, it is clear that a lot of you guys are writing this negative shit just to justify your fear and lack of action. Almost every time I see an incel or some other guy who sucks with girls, he is almost always misogynistic, and he almost always justifies his misogyny with dumbass generalizations like "all the women in clubs are stuck-up" or "women just care about money" or whatever other insane generalization that justifies their gloomy, shitty worldview.

I once heard a guy say to me "girls on the east coast are bitches." Think about that. He generalized AN ENTIRE COAST OF THE UNITED STATES. He had only lived in 2 cities so how would even know what the other cities were like?? It's so fucking insane, but of course, this was his excuse as to why he wasn't getting laid.

Yes, there are a lot of stupid, stuck-up, mean, evil, superficial, drunk, narcissistic, drug addicted women in the world, especially in nightclubs. But guess what - there are also lots of nice, loving, fun, deep, brilliant, engaging, and enlightening women too, and THOSE WOMEN GO OUT TOO!!! So generalizing all women based on a few women that rejected you is stupid.

There is a deeper point here, however, so read this carefully. The human brain is a complicated device and is constantly trying to figure out the world, and one of the thing it does is try to make the world simpler by relying on generalizations. In fact, the brain often engages in what psychologists call "one-trial learning," which means it will make a generalization out of just a single experience. For example, if you put your hand on a hot stove and you get burned, your brain doesn't need a lot more trials to learn that you shouldn't put your hand on hot stoves.

But one-trial learning is actually very dangerous and counterproductive in social situations because you can make a crazy generalization about an entire group of people based on a few or even just one interaction. I once got rejected by three blonde women in a week and I decided to myself that blonde women hated me, but if you think about it, IT WAS JUST THREE FUCKING WOMEN!! There are literally thousands, if not millions of blonde women that would fuck me, and letting three rejections cause me to write off the rest of them is madness.

You need to very careful about the generalizations your mind makes and the "facts" it learns. Just because three blonde women rejected you, doesn't mean you can never fuck a blonde woman. Just because you were a nerd in high school, doesn't mean you can't be a Don Juan now. Just because your game sucked last week, doesn't mean it's gonna suck this week. And so forth.

Go forth and prosper.
