I just wanna say that women, since the beginning of time have mastered the art of eliciting emotional reactions from men that would favor whatever cause they have in mind. I'm saying this as a matter of human reality. It's not something bad but rather part of the bigger picture that's called human interaction.

I may have different reasons getting in to seduction but I would like to believe that all of us here are coming from a place that wants to be the best version of ourselves regardless of the end that we are trying to achieve.

I would just like to point out that purposeful seduction is manipulation. Nerds learn about this stuff (i did at like 16) by doing what nerds do and researching women. Hopeless guys of all sorts come to this stuff for various different reasons. A lot of "seduction" teaches is about confidence, and that can be a good thing, but a large part of what is taught is outright manipulation.

There are female classes that teach the same thing for women too! I'm not sure you can really take out the "manipulation" part of it and leave the honest stuff based on principle.

in my late 20s after years of this stuff and what some if the major guys in the business (if you look closely) have realized is that this is only one aspect of life and when it comes down to it, interpersonal relationships are something far different than any seduction book/article/technique/whatever reaches upon. The biggest lesson you can learn from all this is, "know thyself". Build your character and be a better person...there's no need to demonize people as inferior objects to be attained once you've grown up a little. This goes for the men AND women who follow this kind of stuff religiously.

Learning about seduction has taught me about women, which has taught me about how they work, which has helped me immensely in my committed, monogamous relationships more than anything that I learned from my upbringing (parents, siblings, society etc.) I used to wander around in the dark in relationships, now things are much clearer.

People who condemn casual sex for the sake of women are being sexist, plain and simple. Women can handle themselves and stating no strings attatched sex harms them is the type of shit that should have been killed off after the sexual revolution.

It is truly a shame that such 'slut shaming' still exists in this day and age. If it didn't there wouldn't be LMR or girls not acting on their intents.

sex is the most intimate thing a human being can do with another human being, to think that it would be assumed that nothing will come of it is silly of you to say, and silly of me to believe. even relationships where it's blatantly stated that no further feelings will be pursued, eventually further feelings are had or are requited. that's just how we work biologically.

i'm not here to make a judgement, just an observation that the rules you say you work under are rarely actually agree'd upon.

which is why in my opinion casual sex with strangers is not psychologically healthy for humans to do.

i have yet to see a woman who lives this type of lifestyle who i've seen as well rounded, well adjusted person.

I don't think that game is manipulation. Women are fully functional human beings, capable of making their own choices. They choose to get in bed with you. It's not like you're forcing them to sleep with you.

For me seduction is more about than just having sex. Yes, sex is very enjoyable but getting to know women on a higher level and learning their personality is also very enjoyable. The seduction reddit is about purely the seduction side of it. That is fine. Some are going to use that info to nail as many holes as they can. Others are going to use that info to seduce a higher class of female. And even others are going to use that info to be more comfortable around women and find a suitable mate. Judge the person and their comments/actions not the subreddit itself. We are all different and should be treated as such. You don't see everyone trashing r/gaming because some people use cheats when playing games. Don't misjudge r/seduction because some of the people on there are douchebags. The reality of the matter is every subreddit has douchebags.

Actually, I think very little of seduction has anything to do with getting people to do what you want. It's getting her to do what SHE wants. There is a big difference between the two. The rules in place that keep most women from being promiscuous are hurting them, not helping them. The rules are depriving them of their own sexuality.

If we want to get angry with someone, we can look at all of the degrading things people put women through to keep them in line. Those are the real bad guys, not a guy who is trying to have sex. This then leads to a moral imperative for PUA's. If you are going to have casual sex, then you should do everything you can to keep women from becoming victims of the social stigma. That's the obligation of a PUA, I would think, and that's where most pickup artists fail ethically. But, that's not to say that you couldn't be an ethical PUA.

P.S. Women are manipulative as well. If you don't believe me then pick up any edition of Cosmo and look at all the tips they have for seducing and attracting men. Sorry, but that's part of our mating ritual and figuring out ways to get good at it are not a bad thing, so long as one operates in good faith and takes into account the well-being of the seductee.

Maybe you are not taking something away, but you certainly are holding back giving her everything you could. Consider steering a little of that desire to fulfill your physical needs with a little charity as well. Try giving your whole self to a woman, not just your body. It's not that you are taking away, it's that you are not giving everything you could. You aren't realizing your full potential.

Sex for pleasure by itself never fully satisfies. There is always a hotter girl or a kinkier position. The act that really "ends" this desire cycle of pleasure is in giving up ourselves to another person. Sex is an awesome part of this giving, but it can be a part of so much more.
