But i agree random things do work. When i was in University it was located in a pretty shitty town, Derby, England. The majority of the locals were always seemed pretty backwards and stupid. So after (sadly only after) a couple of beers i was dared to go talk to women by first asking them if they were local, if they replied yes i'd then ask them to show me their hands so i could check if they had all their fingers in the right places etc, i was subtly and cheekily implying they might be inbred. Obviously i'd do this in a playful way but most reacted well and found it funny, got a couple of numbers had a couple of dates with one. So yeah i see how this shit works.

Going to be buried but whatever. You seem like you suffer from an illusion that 95% of guys have - women aren't people. They are. If someone man or woman came up to you and asked "Batman vs. Superman" you would answer and think this person is fun. AA comes from this feeling that women aren't just human beings with as many quirks and feelings of inadequacies as men. Once you realize they are not above you, talking to them comes a lot easier. I guess what I am saying is you sound like you are learning, pedestal=bad.

Well done sir!. All of us are tired of day-to-day boring stuff. Wake up, job, eat, sleep... once we meet somebody playful that kicks us out of routine, we are like "hey I love this".

That´s why I think girls react so well to random stuff. It worked for me lately and I was amazed. I approached a HB9 just by asking: "are you from this planet?" -not complimenting, but being inquisitive like a cop-

I think all girls are dead bored with the "where are you from", "do you come often", "what´s your job" questions. While they are good to ground the conversation from time to time, it´s much more fun to talk about random/fantasy stuff. It just connects you to the girl instantly.

Here's a quick psychological deconstruction of her thought process:

You: "I like chairs."

In her head: No one likes chairs enough to start a conversation about it. This guy must have another reason for starting this conversation. I'm a girl, he's a guy, so he must be trying to pick me up. He's probably not a complete idiot, so he must be smart enough to realize that no one likes chairs enough to start a conversation about it. He must also realize that I know that no one likes chairs enough to start a conversation about it. Therefore, he knows I know he's trying to pick me up. He's not acting like he's ashamed of what he's doing, so therefore he must not be ashamed of picking me up.

That whole thought process goes through her head in a fraction of a second, and that's why she laughs. The realization that you just broke through a social boundry is what she finds amusing.

The lesson: girls aren't stupid. They know when they're being picked up. If you act like you're okay with that, they find that attractive. If you try to actually fool them by pretending to have some ultra-important reason to talk to them, they'll see right through it. On the other hand, by pretending to have a reason that's so far fetched it couldn't possibly be sincere, you communicate that you're socially aware and comfortable with the situation.

Aaand that's why you don't need to come up with an excuse to talk to a girl and it'll usually work against you if you try.

Just wait, in a very short time you're going to have the following problem: How do I juggle 5 girls at one time? I had to start keeping notes about each one, so I didn't get them confused or say the wrong thing.

I hung out with a girl for 3-4 months before she realized I had forgotten her name. Normally I just do the "hey lets laugh at our driver's license pictures", but she didn't have a license... she always uses a handle for all of her online stuff.
