Maybe not in the direct or traditional way, sure, but lots of men who walk around acting like they’re alphas, or putting up a masculine front in the hopes that women would give them a crumb of attention are simps because they act the way they do for female approval.

This also applies to redpill men, the manosphere and any men of the like.

Note: i’m not saying masculinity = simping, nor am I saying that being ‘alpha’ = simping, i’m saying if you have to project that image because you want a woman’s attention, or you want women’s approval… you’re no different than a simp.

“but these men are mean to women, simps love them” - simps eventually become incels because simping takes them nowhere. They already have the same idea and the same image of who women are and their role as RP men, men with a masculine front and the manosphere to begin with - ie. the woman is a prize to be won, she is the object first and foremost, etc

So there you have it - if you feel the need to put up a masculine front or act a certain way because you think it will get you female approval. You’re a simp.
