This is completely misguided and unhelpful advice, OP. The difference is that when you match with someone on tinder you know they’re interested. When you cold approach you’re risking rejection and embarrassment, publicly. While I agree meeting people in life is the better way to go, you seem to misunderstand the reason why these apps are so popular.

Once you develop that skill set, your chances are much better in person actually. I'll get at least 10 numbers from approaching 50 women. At LEAST. I would be lucky to get one match from 50 swipes on tinder. A lot of those numbers will flake or ghost, but a lot of tinder matches do the same anyway. More importantly, the quality of the women I'm meeting in real life is MUCH higher. Maybe MOST importantly, you get to grow as a person and socially. You can more easily make connections with anybody. Guys, girls, potential business partners, etc.

Not the same. Women are on Tinder to be approached and meet strangers, that is literally the point. When they are out in a club, a bar, the grocery store, or wherever you're cold approaching them, they're just living their life, and there's absolutely a chance they don't want to be approached by a stranger in that moment.

It's 10x more difficult to date a woman from Tinder than real life. The swiping creates the false illusion that success is closer. But it's not. Everything you do in real life, you still have to do using Tinder, plus with the extra work of playing the Tinder game. It's a shame, as online dating used to be pretty good before Tinder came along.

They are literally completely different

On Tinder you are talking to someone you know is interested in you on some level, and you’re not imposing on them in any way

Cold approaching you do not know whether they are interested, and by design you are interrupting them from whatever they were doing previously

That’s not to say you shouldn’t cold approach- learning cold approaching is basically the most important part of seduction.

It seems your goal here is to encourage people to approach which is great, but calling it the same as Tinder just makes no fucking sense

People aren't afraid of approaching people. They are afraid of rejection and facing the consequences by looking foolish.

That's what Tinder fixes. The interactions are strictly between 2 people and each end is in the safety and comfort of their own home.

Uhh it’s not the same, at all. Approaching strangers in public has far more risks. She may have a boyfriend, she may not want to be approached, she may not be looking for a boyfriend/hookup etc. whereas on Tinder, you know they’re at least there for somewhat of the same reason you are- to fuck in some capacity, therefore you can flirt a lot easier without risk of getting labeled as a creep.

No son. They are two completely different things. Cold approach, From the guy's side: Needs so much more courage, confidence and context to approach. From the girl's side: Can be so much more irrelevant, bad-timed, interference in their privacy or uninterested leading to harrasment kind of scenario. There's such a thing as degree of difficulty. You get more "points" with a girl for doing an approach in real life compared to doing an online swipe.

You get more points for approaching a group of girls than for approaching a solo girl.

You get more points for approaching a girl with a guy or with her Mom than for approaching a girl who's with her girlfriend.

And so on. The easier it is for a chode to do something, the less impressive it is. The stuff that takes big balls shows ... your big balls.
