I found some self-respect and confidence that I can do without women, so I somewhat lost the need to be tolerant.

Other than that, I think became more tolerant to lower grades of bullshit. I've seen the extent to which it could go, so minor infarctions were "I'll just let it slide".

I’d be ok with never getting laid ever again if it meant my life had peace and laughter in it. The idea that men need women needs to go away. Men love to be providers but I can provide for my dog and be quite happy with it.

I lost all desire to date or be in a relationship after my divorce. It took me awhile to truly get over my ex. But when I realized she had moved on long before we even talked about divorce, it made it easier for me too let go. I hopped on dating apps once I accepted what happened, but despite meeting some really cool people the desire to have a relationship… to open up and share my life with someone, just had gone away. I’m content - at the moment - to focus on my kids and bettering myself. I rarely even miss it.

Yep, I just don’t care to do it again. They fly the first red flag and I just completely lose interest and go back to my grind.

I don’t want to do the whole dating thing, I don’t want to get to know someone who will be gone from my life in weeks to months. I just don’t have time or energy to expend on it.

Men give out love to get sex and women give out sex to get love. Most virtuous folks would disagree with this, but typically the only time you tolerate bs is if there is sex or potential of. There is less desire to tolerate bs when honeymoon is over and you're getting turned into a plow horse.

Separated for 1 year. Near zero interest in women. There are days I think I’d like to go find some action, but it’s super easy to talk myself out of that and just stick to my peaceful existence.

People seem so toxic to me now. I enjoy getting out and casually hanging out, but women scare me now that I know what I know. I don’t trust anyone now, including myself.
