It seems like you’re deliberately misunderstanding and trying to create some kind of semantic “gotcha” so let me make it very clear:

For the vast majority of women, a partner with a penis that is in the average range, whether it’s the higher side, the lower side or right smack in the middle, is perfect and a partner with a penis that is materially bigger or smaller than average range can be a problem.

So yes, in a purely semantic way, size does matter because extremes either way aren’t generally optimal.

However, when men say “size matters”, the implication is always that bigger is always better and smaller is always worse.

Men seem to believe that having a larger than average penis is going to make him far more attractive than he would otherwise be or that normal women screen for XL penises and will sacrifice other qualities to get that. No, normal women do not.

Men are FAR more obsessed with penis size than women are IRL. Unless a penis is significantly outside of normal/average range, we really aren’t going to notice. Seriously.

Is there a small, vocal group of “size queens”? Of course. Just like there is a small group of men who obsess about women with cartoonishly big breast implants. That’s not mainstream for either group though.

Big dick energy and small dick energy, as phrases or insults are directly related to men’s obsession with their own penis size compared to other men and how much their ego is tied to their genitalia. The caricature is that men who feel that they are more “endowed” are generally more confident and have more swagger and men who believe that they are below average are generally insecure about that and have less confidence and swagger. None of that has anything to do with women’s preference 🤣. We aren’t the ones who are obsessed.

You’ve already pre-loaded the answer you want to hear, but I feel like you should spend 15 minutes learning about the actual size and shape of the clitoris so you understand what’s going on in there.

There is no “g-spot”, that was debunked years ago, it has never Ben found via surgery or dissection. What is actually being stimulated is the internal parts of the clitoris, which wrap around the vaginal canal on three sides, which means it’s far easier to hit a spot which feels good than you think.

The problem men have is that women vary in how they like to be stimulated, and that men don’t approach women until they are already aroused and erect, then expect her to magically catch up when she may not have even been thinking about sex.

Sure. Size matters to many women. But it actually is true that many, many women do not prefer larger than average. Average is average for a reason. There isn’t endless room inside of women.

I’ve had sex with a much greater than average number of men. I can’t tell you who was the biggest or smallest. I can’t tell you if my last partner of many years was bigger or smaller than the partner of many years I had before him.

I don’t notice and not because all I care about is oral sex. I’m someone who orgasms from penetrative sex. I just don’t notice because as long as it’s around average it doesn’t fucking matter.

I realize size queens are unfortunately a very vocal group, but they are a minority. Most women would not enjoy a huge dick. It would usually be uncomfortable or even painful.

There is a massive chasm between what people have a duty to say in the name of civility, and what people REALLY think. YES, women care about penis size, but it is considered cruel to say so straight out and so most will not.

In other news, the checkout clerk tells you to have a nice day (but doesn't give a fuck if you have a nice day or not), your coworkers ask how your weekend went (but actually don't GAF), and your subordinates don't think your jokes are even half as funny as they seem to.

If they were exactly the same, then yeah, I’d have a slight preference for the guy with the slightly above average dick than the slightly below average dick. Is that a deal breaker in real life situations? Definitely not. There is NEVER a scenario where two identical men in every way except their dick are options for a woman. So your example, while trying to illustrate a point, actually delegitimizes your point because it’ll never actually happen.
