I've never once seen any red pill theory on the men's side that includes hitting a romantic partner. This is not something that red pill addresses or frankly would even tolerate.

Self control is the hallmark of an exceptional man. A man who can maintain control of his emotions, his appetites and marshal his strength and drive will do well in life.

Being so triggered by something a girlfriend says, that he would risk being arrested is showing you that he is not in control of his emotions or his actions and that he has poor judgement. Where I live, the police would act, with or without your cooperation, if a witness had reported that.

But ending and leaving a relationship can be a very dangerous time for a woman, so please be careful in your next steps.

Violence is abuse full stop. There is no red pill or blue pill or any other dimension to it. You need to get yourself out of that situation and focus on your safety first and foremost.

If you aren’t married to him, (you mentioned he is your boyfriend) I would recommend any violence to be a relationship ending event.

The tolerance for you you describe should be zero.

The only reason that springs to mind where I would strike a woman would be to prevent an immediate and credible threat of violence to myself or others, and even then it would be proportional and as a last resort.

That said, what the the "red pill" angle on this? It seems unrelated. I can't find any RP content on your profile and you just ask for our take, without any apparent relation. Does your bf claim to be "RP"? Because what you describe would not be condoned in the men's forum.

Very odd venue, as well, as guys who go into the "hero" professions, police, fire, EMS, military, generally have strong view on this subject. It's surprising that this was not dealt with by "Street Court" then and there. There was recently a case where a man punched a woman in front of a fire station - unprovoked and apparently the didn't know each other - and in the next couple seconds of the video, four fire fighters come barreling out of the station and chase him down and mete out justice.

I have a question for the community: Laura Doyle’s work is a mainstay of this community and while she has not condoned violence she has said using her skills can turn around a violent marriage. I believe it was a podcast.
How does that view sit here? That a woman can “fix” a violent marriage if only she tries?
I think things like feed into OP’s idea that there is a tacit acceptance of violence in traditional/ RP relationships.
