Jesus, girl, if you think it's bad now, wait until you're in your 40s. The men in their 40s+ are fat, mostly bald, and look terrible. Men who won't date 50 year olds who look 35, themselves look like they're pushing 60, and I'm not even kidding.

I've decided to date younger; they look like they are closer to my age, and might even have a dick that works.

I think about this when OLD all the time. I'm in my early thirties, and I come across men who are allegedly my age who look anywhere between 25 and 45. Some men have aged extremely poorly.

There's 53 year old who lies about his age to circumvent age filters who looks younger than half the thirty something guys. He's still a creep, but at least he keeps up his looks.

I'm 35 and have a partner but I agree. English men look even older than American men anyway. Men my age have a forehead with deep wrinkles, dry skin, bald and fat. Whereas I'm looking in my early 20s, slim, beautiful and the total antithesis to them. Us women generally take care of ourselves and we don't lose our hair either. Men these days are looking old in their 20s also.

I had a male friend who was starting to get damaged skin. So I ran through my entire skin routine and explained why I use each product. I put a face mask on him and let him take a photo of each product. He then went out and bought sunscreen, Face wash and moisturiser.

I couldn’t get him to buy some good face masks or retinol products.

It shocks me how little they know about skincare and how much of a pain it was to get him to buy the products he needs. I doubt he still uses them.

Here I am with my daily routine and my skin looks amazing. I tried to help him lol

The sun AGES you. I can image that in the Midwest with the drier climate and more common outdoor activities, this is magnified significantly.

I use a good European brand daily and reapply like clockwork when I'm outdoors. European brands have higher standards and American brands don't protect against UVA sunbeams (which I don't understand and is stupid, but don't ask me, just buy European sunscreen).

Take care of your skin militantly. Moisturize and use sunblock on exposed skin, sun umbrellas, UV clothing, and try to avoid the sun during peak hours when it's directly overhead and and at its strongest. A diverse diet with plenty of vegetables, limited carb intake, and regular exercise also work to keep your skin as well as your body oxygenated and healthy.

There's a reason John Stamos still looks like a 30-something year old at 57. (Being rich and being able to afford fancy skin care procedures and treatments probably help, but my point still stands.)

Yeah, The bar truly is in hell. I’m only in my early 20s, and most guys my age are already showing heavy signs of aging. A good portion look like they’re in their 30s/40s. Balding, wrinkles, dad bod, etc. They all have horrible lifestyles/habits and refuse to take care of themselves. One ex guy friend of mine told me it was “gay” to use more than just a bar of soap. 😐

Tbh I agree this is location dependent. I live in a major coastal cities and most people I know in their 30s (men and women) still look good. I can only think of one person that's starting to look "old" but I think she was a sun worshipper in her 20s.

I had a guy friend from college who would only eat bacon, bread, french fries and pizza. By the time we were 30, he couldn’t keep up with me on a hike and he was hospitalized for his colon starting to give out. I had urged him for years to get treatment for his eating disorder.
