Women are seen as the buyers and men as the sellers. If a man has sex with a lot of women, he's a good salesman. If a woman has sex with a lot of men, she's bought into many salesman's gimmicks. Because it's about the harder achievement. A guy has to work to get laid. Work means finding efficiency. Therefore, men who are efficient at obtaining sex are rewarded. Most guys usually only care if the N count of the woman is very different from their N count. If you want to have some fun, don't worry too much about what others think - just do it. But when you do decide to settle down with someone, you're probably best off with someone who has a similar level of experience (partner count).

Most of the stigma you'll get for N count I'm guessing will be from other women.
