you need to separate career ambitions from just general laziness.

idgaf if some chick doesn't aspire to be a big shot attorney or whatever. if she is happy being a bartender and living a low-stress, low-expenses lifestyle because that's what she wants to do, that's cool. actually preferable over an ambitious career woman who is stressed out and bitchy all the time.

but if she's just lazy and/or waiting on a man to come along so she can start leeching off him instead of her parents, that's a big hell no.

Yes, so long as she was willing to live the life I wanted, to be loyal and sexually faithful, and to take care of me.

Since she has no ambition, that shouldn't be a problem as long as sexual attraction and basic compatibility are present.

I would have loved that. Right out of college, just live together, low pressure, low expectations. That would give me a sense of freedom I needed at a young age.

I would like to meet a girl who wants to be a mother as her ambition in life. Such a girl is likely to be working hard in her chosen career, laying down assets for her future life and hanging in circles where she's more likely to meet an ambitious man (like me ;) )

The only way to know she doesn't have ambition is to talk to her. If I was talking to her, I would probably have a grasp on why and other aspects of her personality and I'd have to know those to judge whether they meet any aspects of who I am and my personal life intentions. Since other crucial factors are not posited, a yes or no answer would be meanigless. This is flawed.

There is a difference between lacking career ambition and lacking any ambition. If she is lazy, no. If she doesn't want to work but loves home making then of course. If she is happy to leech off me while she sits at home getting fatter, nope. If she stays in shape, is nice to me, and can take care of a home, she doesn't have to work as long as I earn enough.

Aside from her being a bartender (allowing herself to be hit on all the time), you just described by ideal women. Low ambition mean the same as her being easily satisfied.

A women that is low maintenance and has good looks is all I really ask for in a LTR.

The worst part is living with her parents, that would be really inconvenient especially if they were even a little bit controlling. If I were to date her I'd have to like her so much that I would want to have her move in with me pretty soon

I'd live with get long term as long as she wasn't mooching off of me. Other then my excessive vehicle and entertainment spending I live a modest life anyway so it wouldn't be an issue.

Wouldn't marry her tho. Not sharing my retirement and real estate investments

She is pretty, but besides her looks (makeup, hair, not being fat, etc) she doesn’t have any ambition. And works as a bartender and lives with her parents. She makes the minimum amount to support her hobbies and expenses but doesn’t save much or have any long term plans.

OK, so she doesn't have any ambition at all, not running or being a kickass bartender or meditating or anything? I'd rather be single the rest of my life, thank you very much. If she has money, she almost certainly inherited that cash and didn't work for it, ambitionless as she is.

Yeah, I'd be okay with it, depending on her looks/personality and if she was good with kids. Though, I wouldn't like it if she was a bartender. I've done the late/weekend shift and it doesn't help a relationship. She should take her lack of ambition somewhere with a sweet employee discount.

Working as a bartender is a red flag as far as that goes though

Women making their own money and supporting themselves is a protective measure, also allows me to spend more on myself, and I have expensive hobbies and tastes when I do decide to indulge (I prefer living spartanly and have fewer, higher quality experiences)

If I didn’t have plans to have kids, yes.

If I did, then it’s better that she isn’t a complete dumbass.

Ideally speaking, I’d be a tyrant with a harem but since we don’t live in fantasy a woman that isn’t a complete failure in every metric would be better as a mom.

She doesn’t actually need to work or have money at all. This is why I understand MRS degrees. It’s a kind of evidence of class/competency. I’d also judge her on her family. It’s not fair but that’s evidence of heritage.
