Exactly the question in the title. If yes, do you ever find this applying to women? Why or why not?

If you ever have believed in “alphas,” has your self esteem taken a hit since learning of the concept? Did you ever purchase products or advice to “make you” more alpha?

I’ll start: i was born female, but I’m a masculine lesbian/pass as male and have always wanted women to want me like that. I’ve gone on and off in the years of whether I believed, but I was more likely to believe that stuff when believing I was actually male from taking prescription testosterone and passing as male.

Lately, however, I’ve stopped believing in the idea (again). Mostly because...why would I have dated more women than many men, when if our “alpha” levels were compared, I certainly am one of the “lowest in the pack.”

You can’t really get lower in the “alpha male” pack than literally having a vagina I’d think.

Is there some truth to some of the things SOME “alpha” pick up artists or whatever they are say? Absolutely: having a chiseled jawline is attractive to many women (just as men into women are usually more interested in physically attractive women) , and being a leader is also an attractive thing. Being “on a mission” is also desirable to both sexes I’d think, as being a bit too fixated on a woman/man is creepy.

On the other hand, compassion seems to rank low on the list of “alphas,” and emotional intelligence in general seems to be a thing women like. Pretty beta /“omega??” If you ask me. Also my partner loves when I do the “b*tch work” at home. She also likes that I have a well paying job. At the same time, she is in a high level IT position and makes more $ than me, so I can guarantee she isn’t with me for the money.

Back on topic: alphas. Tell me your thoughts. Real? Bullshit? A ploy to make money off insecure young men? Tell your stories/experiences in this thread too!
