[Q4Women] Where are all the "Beckies" & "Becky-lites" who supposedly get ignored by men?

Apologies for using those terms, I didn't want the title to be too long.

One argument I've seen is that if more men went after women who are not in the top 20% of attractiveness, there would be less lonely men. (I realize that the red-pill argument is that unchecked hypergamy is what prevents this from happening, so that'll probably be some guys' responses to this post.) Personally I have no problem with the prospect of dating a woman who is not the most attractive, because I'm not the most attractive guy. But where are they?

I do think that dating apps have a lot to do with the seeming inaccessibility of below-hottest women for below-hottest men. Not only are there way more men than women on dating apps, every dating app I've ever installed always tries to show me the most attractive women first. Sometimes it takes almost 100 swipes before I see a woman who is not in the top tier of looks.
