I disagree as a woman. I am not making 6 figures yet but the men I have talked to who have been interested in me have always noted my ambition, and drive is a part of their attraction. Not only that but they always seem to joke about me getting rich and famous and they can be my house husbands. Even besides men who’ve been interested in me, plenty of men would love it if their partners got 6 figure salaries, or found a girl with one. This is a weird idea tbh. Idk if it is because you feel emasculated or what but not all men feel this way.

I think it's has several layers.

In one hand, men valuing career as much as women do is a lie that is for me on par with the covert one that kindness result in the sexual attraction of a women.

In the other, all the fear about resources, marriages and all mean I doubt men will actually wife up (we're not talking casual or relationships here) a woman that isn't in their socioeconomic class. So while the idea is here, I do think it's good to add more nuance. There's no easy solution either, for both genders.

Actually, most guys I know, including myself, care neither about money nor beauty. Just having basic decency and maybe somewhat loyal and interested in a relationship is enough, with at least 3/10 in both money and beauty departments. If she's not asexual, vegan, does not rant about Trump all the time and has an actually useful degree, then you've already struck gold!
