Aside from guys on reddit, most men today really aren't that obsessed with this. I think the bigger problem is that many girls force themselves to sleep around too lightly or do "adventurous" stuff for the cool stories although they dont really enjoy them or want that. I noticed a big correlation between insecurity and promiscuity in girls, with some strong exceptions who really do just love sex in itself and have low inhibitions.

Yeah, it’s bizarre. I remember growing up being shamed for being a virgin still, being made fun of for being shy with men/“frigid” now growing up in 25, I’ve been with barely 4 men all who I was in a relationship with (I don’t really count the 3rd because we never really had proper intercourse) and I know there’s still men who would judge me for my count being too high... Other women? oh, ok. I believe that.

Men who wanted to hookup with them? oh, ok. I believe that.

By the men that wanted to have a LTR with the women but they (the women) were not ready? I doubt it.

So, at its core the SMP is, after all, a Marketplace, and the customer is always right, so... if someone entering the marketplace offering something, they should be surveying the buyers, not unrelated parties.

Because you were not lied to. Virgin women are repellent to men who are seeking casual sex. Men do avoid prudish women. Men commonly ruin their lives and lose their families pursing sluts. You can say media promote slutty behavior but you can’t really say women were led astray.

“If , and this is a big if” , if you agree that men were lied to i.e. “ the way to get girls is to be a nice guy” You can only have so much sympathy for a man who’s goal is to sleep with a lot of women by following a strategy of being a ‘nice guy’

Similarly you can’t really sympathize with a woman who is pursing the goal of marriage and family with the strategy of being the biggest slut in the world. I mean the very process of sleeping around means you’re actively avoiding commitment. If you want to blame culture media and society for the fact that women lead with their sexuality I’ll agree , but they aren’t suffering for it.

I agree with you and think this has resulted in a lot of frustrated women in their 30s. Film and TV pushed the idea that you will have HVM falling over themselves to marry you. Bridget Jones and sex and the city spring to mind.

They push the idea that you just need to keep working away at your job and Mr right will show up or even multiple Mr rights and you'll get to pick the one who wins the battle for your heart. The reality is men don't really care about your promotion from regional manager of sales to national manager of purchasing. The result is a lot of single women who don't want to date down but have worked so hard it's very difficult to date across let alone up.

Just like the boys that were told "just be nice and you'll get the girl" became angry incels when they learnt it was all a lie I'm sure we're going to see the rage of the cat lady as the novelty of being the "cool wine aunt" and you realise you're just a drunk that smells of cat piss and your sister in law doesn't want you alone around your nephews any more.

It's not a lie. The tradcon LARPers of PPD are the liars. Men over 22, on the whole, do prefer sexy, exciting sluts to modest chaste women. Men out of high school generally do not desire virgins--and I say that as someone who left my teens as one, and did deal with guys being weird about it.
