I just got back from a run and some weightlifting. :)
Working on my career
Graduate school
Keeping on top of my finances, groceries, eating out kept to a minimum and drinking kept to a minimum
Reading books with viewpoints that challenge my own

The self care doesn’t end when you get married, ladies. Keep it up, keep being high value.

I'm: - Working on my website/portfolio and learning web development. - Reading books on stoic philosophy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy - Casually seeing a couple of respectful men even though I've deleted all of my OLD apps to focus on other things - Saving for specific personal goals while working two jobs to afford to do so - Working with my doctors on addressing some chronic pain issues

A lot of what y’all are doing. I wish the men I know and care about would do even a fraction of the self-care we do. It’s body, spirit and mind. You can’t just focus on your body, for example. All three are important.

I work out 6 days a week, sometimes twice a day.
I eat super healthy (basically vegetarian and IF).
I get my hair done religiously (it’s long and balayaged so lots of maintenance).
I read about 2-3 books a month.
I meditate daily.
I spend an ungodly amount of time on my skin routine thanks to the skin obsessed subs.
I have my own house/good job/post grad blah blah blah

Studying full time
Two part time jobs
Run for an hour every second day/an hour of yoga on the opposing days
Making the time to socialise and see friends once a week no matter how busy I am
Giving myself the time and space to just paint, write, play guitar and not feeling guilty for 'wasting my time' by doing so
And I'm leaving for a 2 month solo backpacking trip through Europe this month. I've got deep sea scuba diving lessons in Malta, a natural medicine and yoga retreat in Portugal, skiing in Austria, chasing the Northern Lights in Norway, hiking in Iceland, chilling in some coffeeshops in Amsterdam... I've been living frugally as fuck to save up enough money for this and I'm so proud of myself and so excited to be ticking off so many bucketlist items!

21F. Self improvement is my focus for the next 12 months.

- Therapy & medication - I've just been diagnosed with bipolar & BPD. Both are basically death sentences for women dating. Therapy weekly (CBT, DBT & just general venting), anti depressants, mood stabilisers & anti psychotics.

- Weight loss & eating healthy - having been through a prolonged depressive episode I've really stacked on the weight and stopped taking care of myself. I want to lose 10kg, doing this through cutting out crap food, eating lots of vege, weight lifting 3 x per week.

- Going back to Uni - I go back full time in March, getting an education with a guaranteed job at the end of it is something no moid will ever take away from me.

transitioning to a whole foods, plant-based diet
reconnecting with old friends and strengthening those relationships
volunteering for orgs that I believe in
working out at the gym regularly, both cardio and weightlifting
working on creative projects in my spare time
on track to read 75 books for the year, mostly nonfiction books

I'm working really hard to get my health back on track, lose weight, get my muscle and stamina back, work on my chronic pain, dressing nice, eating right for my health issues. Doing nice things for myself like I used to (sitting in the sun, having a nice glass of tea, taking a relaxing bath, yoga, going for walks)

Next steps will be a lot harder, if they're even possible.

Just finished Susan Jeffers ‘Feel the fear, and do it anyway’. OMG an oldly but a goodie! If you haven’t read it, I totally recommend. Life changing stuff. Best $6 you’ll spend all year.

That book plus daily meditation has given me the life I want.

You need to do the meditation to work out what life YOU want. And delete social media apps

Right now I’m: • Traveling internationally, learning about new cultures

•Taking online courses for career enhancing (resume building, online marketing, etc)

•Applying for jobs that I actually want to do/would feel good about

•Reading books about shadow work, jungian psychology, buddhism

•Trying to keep a daily meditation and yoga practice

•Walking places as much as possible instead of driving

•Transitioning into a fully plant based diet

•Practicing confidence and really stating and maintaining my boundaries and desires

Started journalling again and taking daily time for introspection - I’m prone to morning anxiety if I haven’t slept well and this is greatly helping to empty my mind of junk
Stepping up the gym program as it gets into summer - going for my self awarded ‘fittest and hottest body ever’ for another year.
Joined Meetup and added myself to some fun groups around my local area for group dinner dates and exploring with local hiking clubs
Took advantage of the new no-uniform policy at work and bought lots of new wardrobe items that make me feel confident, sexy and feminine
Blocked and delete a dozen or so people in my phone contacts that I know I don’t need in there. A combination of exes, energy vampires and flakey friends that it feels good to purge myself from

I have a good job and a flat in the best location, good looks and style, so it's mental work. Im building my self-worth, compassion, understanding and tolerance towards other people. It's tough, but it's rewarding.

working on my self-talk and apologizing to my body for the cruelty imposed on it by myself, by others, by society
making a point to empower others through positive speech and encouragement
reading more thought-provoking books about improving ourselves and our country
drinking more water (!!!)
unabashedly taking self-care time through meditation, long beach walks and research
making that dress to wear to the premiere of my first "real me with no co-designers" costume designer gig. The lead wears one of my originals in a pivotal scene and I think I'm going to design something of the same fabric.

I'm in a fairly new accountability group where we meet once a week for 30 minutes. It makes a difference for the three of us to have a check-in. Having that "to do" list for both long-term and short-term goals helps.

Personally, making sure I keep my friendships strong and stay socially active to continue to meet new quality people.

Things are stressful for me right now, so managing stress. I dropped a few things from my list, and I'll add them back once this stressful period is over.
