If all men were 6'3, 225lb, and handsome, would women still believe in egalitarianism/feminism?

There are people who aren't interested in marriage or children just because they don't find it appealing and they don't feel the need to have these things.

I'm for feminism and egalitarianism and even if my husband and I had enough money not to work a day, I'd still study and work. Not that hard that I do it now, but I wouldn't be okay with just staying at home and popping out children as if I was a kid bakery. I don't find taking care of the household or small children an appropriate full time activity for myself, in big doses it's numbing and irritating.

Plus, if the my husband was providing for both of us and I just stayed at home, I'd feel quite miserable. I'd be totally dependent on him and I couldn't alleviate his load, I don't think that it would be a fair deal for him.

You're severely overestimating the power that physically attractive men have on women, I think. Think of how little power they have over women now. If ALL of them became physically attractive? Then their value is even more diminished, by their abundance.

You're asking like five different questions here (and presuming that what was considered "incredibly physically attractive" when feminism rose in the First Wave in the nineteenth century was the same as it is now. It wasn't.).

Do you know why the original feminists had so much side-eye for marriage and motherhood? Hint: it had nothing to do with how handsome their presumptive husbands were.

Plenty of very beautiful and attractive women who absolutely have the opportunity to be with classically handsome men still don’t want to be moms: sometimes for periods in their lives, other times ever.

Having kids for a woman means sacrificing pretty much the rest of her life and body to another being. For the women who want this I think it’s a wonderful and beautiful step to take, but some of us just don’t, or don’t right now and might never. Nothing to do with what type of guy we could get. Just about us, where we’re at in life, and how much we’re willing to sacrifice.

I think SOME of us who say we never want to get married or have kids, or that we “don’t know” if we want to might change our minds were with the right guy, but I don’t think we mean physically the right guy, I think we mean someone who makes us feel safe, stable, and supported enough to even make children a possibility, but I don’t think just making guys hotter overall would make us all want to start being wifes and popping out babies. Not even a little.

As for “egalitarianism,” I don’t care how hot a guy is he sure as hell better treat me as an equal or he’s out the door.

Most of you who come to this sub have no idea how to think about physical beauty. If that became common then there would only be a higher standard to reach. Because sexual attraction culls the herd. That's how evolution works.

If all men were tall and handsome, tall and handsome would be seen as normal and most women would start to find beauty in small, ugly guys.

Let me just state a real life experience.

I'm from Portugal. The most common type of women are petite, brunette and dark eyed. I once had a male exchange student from Iceland stating with a huge smile on his face that our women were like the most beautifull he had ever seen, while all other guys around were like " Wtf? He comes from a land full of tall, blond, blue eyed godessess and says that?".

Our brain is just wired like that.

AH! Replying your question, it wouldn't change a thing and I find it strange why would some perception of beauty change the need for equality in male/female relations and life in general...

Yes. Hypergamy is relative. 6 feet tall might be enough in the UK for example but might be considered short in Sweden. Men that would be considered short in the West are considered giants in East Asia. It's about how you compare to the other men she interacts with.
