Its been a long time for me. I got sick of always wondering if someone was going to text, ghost, if they liked me, how many other girls was be talking too. The high of the attention is not worth my sanity. I just stopped. And its been freeing. At first it was hard, since thriving on male attention is so ingrained in us, but now its peaceful and I am just doing what makes me happy.

I had a realization last night.
I pick bad men.

So, I made a promise to myself. No dudes until I get straight with me. I've been working on myself for some time, but every time a boy comes in the picture it all seems to fall to the wayside. I realized that I am bad at this. For several very good reasons, but it doesn't negate the fact, that I am bad at picking men.

So, I'm going to stop. I want the peace the OP is mentioning. No joke, I feel better already.

I feel this so much.

I have been in a series of relationships with men for the past 10+ years (here comes the serial monogamist me - seems like I always so convincingly persuade psychopath/lvm/nvm/narcs to get into an exclusive relationship as soon as possible... all my relationships began with them pushing real hard + mega grand ge$tures and love bombing within the first months. now I know better and that was literally me being naive, stupid libfem and letting myself being taken advantage of). Being a sexual human being, I thought sex was something to be had with them. I even forced myself to think that I enjoy those meh sex because as men like to say bad sex is still better than no sex. For women, this cannot be further from the truth. Dick is cheap and abundant. You can literally just ask upfront a pretty face nice ass on the street and he will agree to sleep with you with no second thought.

I began therapy (long process.. finding the right therapist is far more difficult than finding a decent man, I'd say) and with some better judgment started not engaging with men in any non-professional context. No sex for the past three months, and I know it's short but these have been the most peaceful period of time. I detoxed all those mental quashing from men and hallow sex and diverted my attention and energy to my career, project, and friends. I literally just got a raise and finalized my first home purchase (small but I am no longer a freaking renter in one of the most expensive cities in the world). 100% thanks to serenity and focus gained from not having sex with men.

It's been 5 years for me now. It's just not worth it. These men are just trash. And they can't even get sex right. I'm 30 now and I'm not settling for a lazy lover. I'm focusing on things that I want to do and how I want my life to look like, and a rusty man is not in the picture.

I haven’t had sex for almost a year! At first I thought it would be hard. But turns out it’s not a big of a deal! Especially when you have lotsa thing to explore and improve!

Also quitting OLD. Not worth the time, effort and emotion investment. I’m very attractive. When I used Bumble and paid for premium, the list of guy that swiped me right was always 50+ Never had difficulties in match. But I found that guy who use OLD have some issues even the “good” one that were not looking after sex in our exchanges.

Friends are all telling me that I need casual sex but no, I want to have sex with the guy that will prove that he adds value into my life and made a commitment with me.I mean, I have it all. Looks, career, financially independent, brain, personality. Certainly won’t give a chance to some NVM/LVM who will suck on to my well being. Learnt my lessons and thanks to FDS of course!! It reinforced how valueable we are, as a woman.

I haven’t had sex in close to a year. I have absolutely no interest in sex or desire to meet anyone new. I’ve been getting texts all year from guys I dated or slept with in the past, and I’m just like...nah. I’ve always preferred being alone anyway and would date mostly just as a social activity. But I think when things open back up again I’ll make an effort to meet new women because going on dates with men always turns into drama and nonsense and them nagging me for sex. Life is really quite good, despite Covid. I’m happy, I’m healthy, and I’m at peace. If I ever feel the urge, which isn’t that often, I have a vibrator. It’s all good.
