It's not so difficult to break up with a guy who obviously brings no value to your life. It's a lot harder when he also does GOOD things. We talk a lot about LVM & HVM. We also need to talk about medium-value men.

How do you know whether to stay or go when you're with an MVM? It's not as easy as saying "You feel dissatisfied, so just split." You know damn well your chances of meeting an HVM are up there with winning the lottery or becoming a rock star; you'll be deluged with LVM if you break up & try dating; and your best likely positive option is finding another MVM and having similar issues. And your only other option is lifelong celibacy. :/
