This is the group that might understand where I'm at, just curious if any of you have felt the same way.

I'm about two years out from divorce being finalized, I'm actually doing pretty good on my own, I have lots of hobbies and have been able to get back into a lot of things I lost in my 20 year marriage.

Divorce situation was just like a lot of us, wife cheated a few times because she lost the butterflys and left me for her boss at work.

So when I'm out at concerts or other events on my own, I get kind of bummed out when I see all the people coupled up. I for sure miss the intimacy but not all the bull shit that goes along with it.

As a slightly below average looking guy dating has been rough, but my real issue is this; first off I figure the chances of finding a happy relationship are probably lower then 10%ish. Secondly, I feel like if I do find a unicorn once the honeymoon phase is over she'll just bounce or turn into a harpy.

I literally just read a post on another sub where a woman was describing exactly this, in a long term relationship and now everything he does irritates her so she's turning into a mega-bitch. All the woman's comments were "me too girl, go find your Romeo". This was in a over 40 sub so we aren't talking about zoomers here.

So I guess my point here is that I find dating pretty stressful and not enjoyable, my goal would be to get back to that point where you are just really comfortable with your partner, but that seems to be where woman get bored and cheat or move on.

Are relationships even worth it anymore? What do you guys think?
