This is the ultimate LVM v HVM test.

LVM will say, "You stuck with me through everything, you understand me, you would be the perfect mother to my kids, you know how to please me, you always do nice things for me." This might seem nice, but it isn't. Pay closer attention. It's all about him and what you do for him. Of course, a little bit about himself is normal and expected. But if all he can say is what you do for him, then he doesn't see all your beauty and power, and only views you as an accessory for himself. A man who really loves you will be able to see you as yourself, not just how you benefit him.

Think about it. When we love a man, yes, we demand to be treated with respect, but that's the bare minimum. He has to bring something else too, be extraordinary in some way. When a man asks why we love him, we never say, "You support me and help me." We praise something like his intelligence, or his empathy for other people, or his spiritual strength. In short, we see him as more than an accessory, and that's the very reason "Nice Guys" are so confused, because they have to be more than just decent if we're going to love them. We need to demand that men see us the same way. No more saying you love me because I'm a good servant. It needs to be about me, not about you.

A HVM will say you are brilliant, or extraordinary in some way. He will tell you what it is about YOU that makes you special. It won't be about him, and you won't just be an accessory. This shows he views you as your own person, and not just in relation to him. And he loves what he sees. Don't accept a man who doesn't see your value. Don't be with a misogynistic narcissist.

Women have been groomed into being the supporting actors in men's dramas. Say no. You are his equal and you want to be seen in the same way that you see him, as a fully fleshed out human. It isn't too much to ask.
