Yesterday I went to go run some errands after work, nothing new or unusual. Pulled up in the parking lot and took notice of a man sitting in the parked car next to me. All fine and good.

Went in, grabbed some much needed items and made my way back to the parking lot, nothing seemed different, didn't have any sort of feeling of being watched. Hell, I was talking on the phone with my husband.

Then as I sit in the car, talking for a few minutes as I get situated to pull out, I notice something shining out of the corner of my eye. I look back over to the car next to me, there he is, plain as fucking day, RECORDING me with his phone.

I gave him a scowl, as that's all I could think to do. I was honestly completely shocked, and he retaliated with the biggest, creepiest, shit eating grin.

The thing that bewilders me the most is that I had just gotten off work. I wasn't dolled up, no makeup, no provocative clothes in the slightest. I work as an industrial painter in a machine shop, so I just had on a sweatshirt, jeans, steel toed boots, and a pulled back bun. Nothing remotely sexy.

I can't wrap my head around why on Earth he felt so entitled to my privacy, to go so far as to record me? For sitting in my car and talking on the phone? Why do men think this shit is okay? He got caught doing it and didn't seem to feel any regret.

Ladies, has anything like this happened to you? If so, how could I have handled this better? Is there anything I can possibly do to prevent this, without giving them the reaction they're expecting???
