Did he say it was a date? I ask because most men I find are not actually asking women on dates online. Some are. Most dinner offers aren’t even dates in their minds. Most dinner offers (although above drinks) are still just ways to have sex. I do not think he ever thought of it as a date. Be warned. It took me years to realize most offers are not dates
