Yup, my ex texted me "good morning beautiful" everyday for the first 7 months we were dating.

He was also a p*rnsick avoidant who would ignore me on a regular basis and constantly break dates or show up hours late to them. And didn't know if he loved me after 8 months of dating.

I absolutely HATE GM texts. It’s just another way to throw you off balance and into thinking some scrub is a “good guy”.

I wake up later than most, and if you’re talking to me then you know that. So when I get GM texts at 6:00am it’s infuriating and clearly done for HIS convenience. Just a thing to check off his list. Why not text me at a time you know that I’ll be up? Or just quit with the obligatory communications altogether?

It's sad that most of the time, we're treated so poorly by LVM in our lives, that this type of gesture is viewed as "so cute" & relationship worthy when it's the bare minimum. But we wouldn't know any better, because we're tricked into thinking it's all we are capable of getting.
