But every time I've had a 'feeling' that a guy was cheating, I was right. Something about their behaviour changes, and I can't quite name the changes but they are there. If I ever get that feeling I'm certainly not ignoring it.

A lot of women think like this! Its a fools game but they are so deeply conditioned and feel content in knowing the man comes home to them. Its really sad that a lot of woman think they dont deserve more and so they settle or seek out less.

I think it's normalizing cheating. That we can't even expect monogamy, so we should just not even bother. I wouldn't be able to stand it. Knowing that someone was with my partner, I would feel like a fucking fool. Some cheating men will never come clean even when they get caught. A lot of men want to get caught. I assume she has been hurt before and that wanting monogamy is too exhausting for her to continue to be diligent about. She must know that he is cheating but is okay with being ignorant. She needs to either trust or leave, not this weird middle ground of believing he's cheating but being too scared to look.

Personally, I don’t give a flying fuck if my man comes home every night or not. If he gives me a reason to be suspicious and I speak to him about it and feel lied to, I’m investigating. There is too many STDs going around to be a “he come home every night” ass female. She better hope what happens in the dark don’t come to light in the form of positive STD results. It’s really a shame what some women will go through just to say she has a man.

My ex was super jealous and constantly worried that I was cheating on him because I have a few close platonic male friends and I had a lot of casual sex partners years ago (I now realize thanks to this sub that I should never talk about my sexual past, but I didn’t know then.) Plus his ex-wife cheated on him and he hadn’t yet healed from that.

I felt like I had to go super above and beyond to prove I was being loyal and it drove me crazy.

So I prefer to always trust my partner unless he’s given me a clear specific reason not to, since I would want him doing the same for me.
