I’m disgusted but not surprised. A man I worked with ended his marriage because his wife cheated on him, or as the jury saw it, was raped. I’ve also seen articles and social media posts similar to this where men have ended relationships/been jealous/hit their partner for cheating when in reality she was sexually harassed, sexually assaulted or raped.

I truly don't understand. He's pissed off ... at his girlfriend? Why? In his mind, what would have been the ideal response for her to have had here? I honestly don't get what he's mad at her about. It's sad to say but I'm never surprised when men seem to be more threatened by the possibility of their ego being bruised because another guy was 'encroaching on their territory' than by the fact that their significant other is being sexually harassed on a daily basis and can't do anything about it because she might lose her job, livelihood, and professional reputation.
