First, it’s a mother‘s job to teach a boy to behave. That’s understandable, he’s a child.

Then, it’s a teacher’s job to tell him to sit quietly while she’s reading to the class. Hmm the girls in the class figured that one out on their own, didn’t they?

Then, it’s a girlfriend’s job to teach a young man the things his mother didn’t about consent and female anatomy. Hmm I thought he was an adult, he’s heard of google by now, right??

Then, it’s his wife’s job to show him how to fold the laundry and spend quality time with his own child. Hmm hasn’t he taught himself anything???

Then, it’s the nursing home staff’s job to teach him to stop hitting on the nurses’ aid and keep his goddamn pants on when she checks his blood pressure.

From birth til death, it’s always a woman’s responsibility to teach a man to behave 🙄

I can't tell you how many relationships I've stayed in way too long because I kept trying to communicate... And when it didn't work, I just thought I wasn't communicating properly. And the men told me I wasn't communicating properly. I have been going to therapy for the last 10 years.. There is no way I don't know how to communicate by now. But we're fed this dangerous idea that we just need to communicate better instead of finding a partner who actually LISTENS.

I'm sure she never told her family about this, because I'm sure they would've been like wtf is wrong with him and you. My dad would be mortified to have such a deadbeat for a son in law and would also break his foot off in said deadbeats ass.

I never understand these women who live with a bf or roommates who are content to live like pigs in shit? If you take the attitude of "not my responsibility, not doing it" which is good, and the other party responds by being content to let the filth pile up, why the fuck is that not a deal breaker? Why do you want to live with a slob? Granted, my dad is kinda messy in "his" areas of the house (basement and where his pc is) which my mom has been on his case about for 25+ years, but it's not the entire house. he is not a pig, he's not dirty, and my parents have long had an equal division of labor.

I can’t tell you how many times I sat down with my ex husband. I tried. I made schedules. Chore charts with stickers. I was his mom and I lost all respect for him.

I made more money. I spent more time with the kids. I did all the everything.

Not sure what he was good for. Sex wasn’t even good.
