There is not a lot that a man wouldn't do to get you, when you are the one he wants.
There is nobody out there nicer and more thoughtful than a man that wants to have sex with you but hasn't had the opportunity yet. The extent of what a man is willing to do to impress you, is not going to increase the moment you agree to be his girlfriend.
If anything, you will get more from a man as long as he feels like he is still chasing you, which is what causes the effort to start dying down once he feels like he tied you down and you are finally his girlfriend.
All you really get out of agreeing to be someone's girlfriend, is the promise that he will continue to do all the SAME shit he was already doing while courting you, while also being monogamous and faithful to you until he one day decides to "make an honest woman out of you".
Which is not guaranteed, and ultimately does not mean much. YOUR chastity is worth a lot more than his. You have greater options as a woman than he does. You sleep with whoever you want to, he takes whatever he can get. He should get bothered about you seeing other people, you really shouldn't worry too much about what he is doing with his life.
Yet for some reason, its usually women that chase after the GF/BF relationship more so than men even though men benefit from it more than us. They benefit from marriage more than us, as well, but marriage has a lot more benefits to women than BF/GF relationships. Yet women still fall into them.... Why? What is the point?
You get all the same things from a guy that you would get if you weren't committed to him, besides monogamy. In return, you have to beat men away from you with a stick for the rest of your life. Richer, more handsome men, that could probably treat you better, with at least another inch on their dicks. You have to say no to every nice gift or fancy meal you are offered, for a man who is still on the fence about whether or not you are wife material. You also get to perform some wifey duties, how much will depend on a lot of factors. If you live together, tough luck. You have basically become like a wife that is easier to leave, reaps no tax benefits, and isn't recognized by the law.
Here is an underrated strategy:
You are either single or married, there is no in-between. Any man that wants you to commit to him has to put a ring on your finger first.
What that sounds like:
Absolute insanity. You will never get to really know anyone this way. Only weird, low value, desperate men would agree to something like that. Men will run for the hills as soon as you tell them being their girlfriend is off the table. There is no way you can string someone along like that and get to know them well enough to ever be engaged to them eventually. You NEED to be his girlfriend for 1-2 years to know who he is. That is the ONLY WAY. This will never work in a Western society or on Western men!
What actually happens:
Every guy you talk to is super excited when you first tell him you dont want a BF/GF relationship, because he doesn't have to worry about you begging him to be your boyfriend in a few months. Things seem great at first! He can swipe around on Tinder without feeling any guilt, things are going great....until they aren't. Until he realizes that you are also still active on the apps. Until he recognizes that as a woman, you have more options than he does. You are going out on a lot more dates than he is. Your snapchat everyday is at a new fancy steakhouse that he cant afford. You do not need him. Now, he wants you to commit to him. Little by little he starts filling up more of your time. The way he sees it, the more he takes you out the less time you have to go on dates with the rest of your rotation. Pretty soon he is taking you out 3-4 times a week or more if you let him. Time passes, its been 6 months to a year now. You are now the only woman he is talking to, because you take up so much of his time and money trying to keep you unavailable for other men, but you still have 4 other men on speed dial. He knows that, and it drives him crazy. He realizes that he has gotten to know you, as much as you will allow him to, under these circumstances and he can't imagine losing you now. He is now ready to propose, because the idea of another man having you keeps him up at night. He would rather take time to have a longer engagement and lock you down now, than continue to risk letting someone else swoop in and regret losing you forever.
Now because you wouldn't accept a boyfriend, you got yourself a husband in the fraction of the time it would have taken him to propose if you let him superficially lock you down with a GF title for 2 years first.
FIELD REPORT:
I employed this tactic my whole life because it was how my parents thought. In my family there are no boyfriends and girlfriends, and bringing one home is a huge sign of disrespect in my parent's eyes. So I used that as an excuse to tell men why I can't be their girlfriend. By the time I was in my early to mid 20s I had already been engaged twice but received multiple marriage proposals (first one when I was 18 the last one happened at 22).
Then I fell in love with my best friend when I was almost 23 and decided I did not want to be engaged or married, I wanted to take things slow. I agreed to be his girlfriend. I dropped everyone in my rotation, until 4 years into our relationship when I realized I was ready for the next step...but he was not.
I was shattered, but still ever so calculating. I played it cool and focused on myself for 7 months until our lease was up. By the time our lease was up, I told him I could not live with a man who couldn't commit to me and asked him to put everything he owns in the box to the left while I stood and watched in a pair of jeans that hadn't fit since I first met him. 2/3 more months pass, and I am now the tightest and leanest I have ever been in my life. I look incredible. I soft maxxxed the fuck out of my appearance. I end my nearly 5 year relationship. The feeling at the time was mutual.
We don't speak for a month mostly because of me wanting NC. He reaches out and asks to see me and I agree. While we were out, I get a text from someone in my rotation and he notices. What happened afterwards was an absolute romantic shit show, but I never expected him to react that way. I did not plan to get a text at that time, or build up a rotation just to make him jealous. Now he was desperate to fix his mistakes and confess that he was wrong and is not over me. I was not having it. I refused to be his girlfriend, I told him he has the same opportunity every other man has right now. He can either put a ring on my finger or continue sharing me. I made it clear that I have not forgiven him for wasting my time, and don't know how or when I will.
He is literally losing his mind right now trying to win back my approval and impress me. He has done more for me, the last 2 months of him trying to court me and win me back, than he did in the 4 years of me being the cool and casual girlfriend. The gifts I have gotten, the restaurants I have been taken to, everything has leveled up drastically. Every dinner out together is a $200 dinner now. He goes out of his way to spend time with me now, and he openly admits its because he wants to keep me busy so I don't have as much time to entertain my other dudes.
After nearly 5 years of no planning on his end, he is now actively preparing for a proposal. I found out on accident, but he is proposing to me on an occasion that is coming up in 3 months. I don't know yet if I am going to say yes right now, but look forward to seeing what other hoops he will jump through from here until then.
None of this would have happened if I didn't have an abundance mentality and did not focus on myself. None of this would be happening if I did not employ FDS tactics and stuck to them, even during times where he was being so impressive that part of me wanted to go back to the good ole days!
But I will never let myself fall into that trap again. He is also not the only man in my rotation planning a proposal for this year, either.
Even if I end up not getting engaged to either one of them, this tactic works and is the most liberating thing I ever decided for myself. As soon as the option of being someone's girlfriend was off the table again, my life has improved drastically. I don't buy my own food anymore, I go out to eat to a 5 star restaurant at least once a day. I have multiple men buying me clothes, jewelry, paying my bills, etc and I am not having sex with any of them for it. I couldn't ever imagine trading in this life, to be superficially committed to a "boyfriend" again.
I can't find much online about other people that go the no boyfriend route, and I would love to hear from anyone else who dates in a similar fashion. Has anyone else tried this out? Does it work for you too? If you haven't tried it before, is this something you think you would be interested in? Or has science finally gone too far?
