My most significant ex went to therapy in an attempt to get me back. The moment he told me he’d only gone to one session, because he didn’t need any more, was the moment I knew the relationship was dead. My more recent ex also went to therapy after we broke up and apparently really infuriated his therapist because he refused to consider anything from my point of view. Those two examples taught me a lot!

Nope. I will not do for men what they refuse to do for women. This is what gets the scrotes riled. They think they are entitled to our emotional labour to help them evolve. No, they are not. And since men really don't take counseling seriously anyhow, and just use it as a tool to gaslight the women in their lives further, women are far better off leaving the maladjusted ones alone. It isn't worth it. A man who is truly serious about getting help will do it on his own.

So he’s DM’ing other girls and has mental health issues that ‘you’ had to convince him to work on? And that makes him a keeper with “green flags?” Uh, no. 😂 So sad that younger women are going to see this ad (not that they don’t see enough like it already).

“Hey women, you better always work or you’re a lazy gold digger! 50/50 or your a gold digger! Always look flawless (taking up a bunch of time and money) or you aren’t a good enough woman! Don’t forget to do the majority of housework and childcare or you are useless and lazy! The expectations of what women have to/should put up with is exhausting. It’s way easier and much more fulfilling to opt-out. While women have way more rights than they used too, there are way to many in the media who are trying to get us to voluntarily “imprison” ourselves and do the emotional load and housework/child work load, all while working full-time and being the main caregiver for children. What do we get for it? Lower pay? Less advancement opportunities as we age (in a lot of industries)? A “pat on the head” at work?

They’re still scamming us, ladies. They are just trying to make us think it’s our idea.

My LVX husband chose divorce over going to counseling for his anger issues after punching me in the face. Scrotes never think they're in the wrong.

Also, as a therapist, if someone doesn't chose change and counseling, it ain't going to work.

I am so tired of dEpReSsEd SeNsItIvE fRaGiLe MeN. They tap into this weird savior complex a lot of women have, and it's all emotional manipulation. None of them actually have depression. They are just looking for a second mommy to coddle them and not hold them to any standards, because of course, they're too "depressed" to be semi-decent boyfriends and husbands.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: therapy is no substitute for morality. All the therapy in the world won't create an ethical worldview and moral commitments to treat others with empathy and respect. It will just give them more sophisticated language to justify their atrocious treatment of others.

This could be crossposted in notliketheothergirls. Also aren't "a man who is willing to work on his mental health (by getting therapy in this case) for someone" and "someone convincing a man to get therapy" two different things? This add doesn't even make sense. I guess they actually meant "a man who is willing to work on his mental health (by getting therapy in this case) for someone after getting pushed." That pushing shouldn't be anyone's job. It's your own responsibility to work on your mental health.
