There's this HUGE beard trend going on and majority of women hate beards according to multiple researches yet men keep insisting on wearing it.

A recent survey of more than 2,000 men and women conducted by Lynx unearthed some conclusively anti-beard statistics.

While 63 per cent of men believed facial hair made them more manly and attractive, 92 per cent of women said they preferred a clean-shaven man, with 95 per cent complaining that facial stubble made a romantic kiss a turn-off.

And a huge 86 per cent said they found beards unattractive.

I don't understand why're women so hell-bent on accepting and participating in weird beauty norms like going hairless etc.

beards on models look good (bc of how much goes into maintenance and photoshop) but i would hate to go anywhere near one irl.

I actually find a little bit of beard attractive while my so hates it. He even made a joke once saying all the bearded guys I find hot prolly look ugly without it. So men know about beard-fishing.

Also whether he has a beard or not am not going bald downstairs unless I feel like it. No one can tell me what to do with my privates. You can chose not to sleep with me but that's your problem not mine.

Women are generally expected to not have hair anywhere except on top their head, their eyebrows and sometimes the vagina.

A lot of men find hair in any other place to be unattractive. Me shaving my legs, under pits, vagina, and tweezing any other random hairs is almost expected and is way more work than a guy keeping up his beard. Those tasks are NOT one for one, let’s not let men think so.

I don't consider dudes who have gross, unkempt beards in the first place. I'm very much against this arms race to see who can be grosser and nastier. I have standards for my self-maintenance and for the men I date. Anyone who doesn't meet it does not get my attention.

Women can stop shaving regardless of what men do. Pornography has brainwashed us into thinking that shaving away our adult sex characteristics is somehow normal and not gross and vaguely pedophilic.

Fuck that and forget men who expect that you shave and also suck their hairy balls they probably haven't even washed.

I'm the odd one out here; I love beards due to my culture as well as beliefs BUT I love a man who conditions, grooms and even self shapes/edges his. It takes maybe 10 minutes to do that daily and it's so minimal.

Make the beard smell good and shaped properly and it can look great, especially if it's an actual beard and not a patch. If you can't grow proper facial hair then you're doing yourself an injustice. If I dyed my blonde hair brunette, my roots would make me look like I'm balding, hence why I don't.

In the case of the photo, most of us keep our nether regions clean, neutral or soft scented and trimmed/shaved. It doesn't take long, but it's all relative so I'm neutral on the matter. I see all of this as preference.

If he doesnt brush his teeth, doesnt pluck so he doesnt have a unibrow, doesn't shower or wear fresh clean clothes every day... imagine if I did all the gross things he did and rolled up like that 🤣

I actually like beards. But not some un-kept one, but a good one. I dont mind if it is a bit wild :) But the man has to keep it with beard oils and cutting it etc, like my SO does. He also NEVER comments on my body hair, I have super blonde hair on my legs and he doesn't care about it at all, if I want to shave in the summer, I do, but it is for me alone.

Okay I’m going against the grain here. I do love me a beard. I guess I really never paid attention that there’s different beard tiers: raggedy vs well kept.

And for me I love slipping into my bed after shaving my legs and arms lol

But again to each their own, no one should do anything they don’t want to. My SIL is full blown Chewbacca legs but it’s better than painful ingrown hairs. She will wax them now and then.

Don’t ever do shit for someone else’s comfort though.
