Girls NEED TO KNOW that esp now in 2020, no guy has to take shit from them. Particularly if they are being aggressive physically.

I'm 30 and have always been told not to hit a woman back if they try to get aggressive, but every day that these kinds of scenes unfold, I'm more convinced that gender equality means I can defend myself by incapacitating them.

I'd like to think though, that MOST women know better than to swing at a man. It only takes one experience getting picked up and thrown like the WWE to learn your place.

For all the wannabe white knights who jump in to save the girl everytime, I implore you to tone down the fake machismo and learn to be more analytical of a situation. In middle school a similar situation happened to me. My dad always told me to not be a snitch but if a kid is picking on you to the point where you want to fight him, then tell the teacher. If the teacher doesn't do anything about it and it continues then you can fight the kid, youll probably get in trouble at school but you wont be in trouble with me. So one day in Drama Class this kid starts stabiing me with a pencil, i tell him to stop, he calls me a f****t and continues, i tell the teacher, yo this guys bullying me , shes just sighs and keeps her lecture on Shakespeare going, he does it again , so i stand up grab my chair and and smashed it over his head. Prior to this he had been verbally bullying me , which I had already made a written complaint about. So we get sent to the principals office, he has sperate meetings with us and the teacher, and calls my dad and explains to him what happened, and that because of zero tolerance, I would be suspended for a week. My dad asked if I told the teacher , the principal said yes and that they had documentation of me making a complaint about the kid beforehand. My dad then told the principal that I would be facing no punishment at home, and that he would be taking me out to dinner and the movies , because the school had every opportunity to do something about it, and did not.

This is not the boy's fault, and it's not entirely the girl's fault either because it's the teacher standing right there and not preventing escalation of the situation. There's enough shown by the 10-second mark that warrants intervening. On top of that, if it ever gets to the point where people are busting their phones out to record, something has already gone wrong. It took almost a minute after for someone to intervene.

So I'm gonna get downvoted for not following the narrative, but I am curious more about this story than the sensationalist headline. In the beginning she is clearly telling him to "keep his hands off of her" with no context. He then seems to keep confronting her while she tries to back him up. She tells him to leave her alone yet he continues to square up with her. She then goes for the fight and all hell breaks loose.

But I want to point out to everyone commenting that we have no idea about context or their prior relationship here except for the 1 sided title of this post. Who was right? No one, because these are stupid kids who do stupid things because they are stupid children.
