How prevalent is it in mixed gender occupations (ie not an engineer of some kind).

Do you engage in it? Do you see much of it where you work?

I work at a large corporate facility. I feel like a ton of people are flirting at work and form pairs or networks that flirt every single time they see each other. I sometimes see shoulder rubs being given out and shit, hugs, etc. I also hear about people sleeping with coworkers on the reg.

Im just trying to make sure my social radar is working correctly. Am i mistaking mere collegial friendliness for the sexual availability probing that is flirtation? Or is it really as prevalent as i think? I would say 50% of people flirt where i work and 49% are kinda boring, stable and faithful and brick wallish. 1% is too autistic to notice women flirting with him, presents a cold shoulder and inadvertantly becomes the subject of their scorn forever after. I wont mention his name.
